Clean and great location.

We needed a place for our guys to stay while we were working on a project on Johnson’s Island. This place was a great option. The home was very clean and convenient to the project site. There were a few items / damages that were found after checkout and will hopefully be resolved via the additional insurance protection we purchased. The host was very thorough and accommodating to our needs. We appreciated the hospitality.

Nice water views and spectacular sunsets! The house was very clean, but we felt that it was not set up to be rented. There were too many personal items everywhere.

I am thankful that Lori has pointed this out in her review. My house is meant to be a different type of experience, not your typical empty rental. I was very straightforward when the inquiry to rent came in. Here's what I told her. " I am very particular on who rent to as this is my second home not an empty rental. I leave personal items (clothes/ food, etc.) there and make room for guests so I need to know that you would respect boundaries and take excellent care of the house." I hope guests feel like they are in a very special setting as it is one of a kind.
