The property was exactly the way it was described. The hosts were helpful and responsive. The location is fantastic and we would stay there again if we ever come this way again.
Found this place a great quiet retreat for my family and my sister’s family while traveling to Vermont for our mother’s funeral. Close and convenient to Woodstock and Quechee and Billing’s Farm.
Spacious, clean, cozy home with beautiful back view of fall foliage . Rooms are good size. Plenty of single beds for kids, Would like to have seen a second bedroom with a full size, queen, or king bed for adults. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to friends/family.
Highly recommend this property. It’s clean and charming. Covered garage and excellent snow removal was incredible as we stayed at the property during a snowstorm. Will definitely return again with our family

We had a great stay. Perfect location, beautiful views and relaxing. We will definitely become back.
Interior of house was good and clean and had everything we needed. Deck seemed worn and had alot of wasps flying around...therefore, we did not use deck. Owner very responsive to us leaving a message with a question. Location was great and we would stay there again if we travel to Woodstock
Very comfortable, well appointed, clean, fully equipped home in a beautiful country setting with easy, quick access to Woodstock. Charmingly furnished with flair and everything at hand for a very relaxing stay. Perfect place in a wonderful part of Vermont.

Beautiful home, lots of amazing art, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Water pressure in primary walk-in shower….amazing! Would rebook if staying in same location in the future. Thank you so much!
Quiet, charming and cozy. Comfortable master king with great linens. We stayed two nights, and the property was perfect. A morning walk to Billings Farm with our pup (6 miles roundtrip) was beautiful! The Farmer's Market was fabulous too. 25 min ride to Tuck for a visit with family and lunch at the Simon Pierce restaurant rounded out a wonderful weekend.
We enjoyed our stay at the property. Some in the party were a bit unhappy about the gravel road, not being mentioned in the description. Also, the deck does appear to be a bit worn and had vines growing up that needed to be taken care of as well as a bit of a bee problem. It did seem sturdy and we did spend some time enjoying the beautiful weather out on the deck. Some of the furniture and various areas throughout the house seemed a bit tired and maybe needed a little sprucing up. Overall, we enjoyed the amount of space the home offered, the proximity to the very cute town of Woodstock, the wood burning stove, the comfortable beds, and the cleanliness. In addition, most any necessities needed could be found.
The property is gorgeous inside and out. The deck and backyard were perfect for relaxing. House is large and inviting with a well stocked kitchen. Upstairs bathroom has double sinks, soaking tub and large shower. Location was perfect on a lovely country road. It is just a few minutes drive to Woodstock center and Quechee gorge. The hosts were great to work with and very accommodating! Our family had a fun weekend!

Thank you, Peter. You and your family were wonderful guests and we'd love to have you again. We're so glad you enjoyed your visit!
Lovely house above River Road between Woodstock and Quechee. Kitchen very well stocked; beds comfortable, lovely linens. Furniture also comfortable (sofa was great for jet lagged day-sleeping). It’s a beautiful area and the house feels like a proper home, not a remotely managed box. We didn’t need aircon so can’t comment on how the house feels when it really gets warm. Comms with the owners excellent. Highly recommended.

A wonderful house - exceeded expectations
We kept telling each other through the weekend how much we were enjoying that house. Getting in was a bit troublesome as the lockbox wasn't cooperating at first. But we got in and loved everything. Very comfortable living room, great kitchen, beautiful bedrooms, and we would have loved the deck and back yard more if the weather had been a bit warmer. If we ever decide to return to the Woodstock area for another visit, this will be our first stop.

Thank you for your kind review. We’re so glad you enjoyed the house and would love to have you back anytime!
The house had plenty of room and the outdoor grounds were really well manicured- however we were a bit disappointed some of the photos showed an outdoor fire pit, which they do not have, and the porch was very dirty- we cleaned it prior to being able to utilize (more than just fallen leaves). There were quite a lot of wasps and wasp nests around porch as well. There were no fans in the rooms and we had to go into the basement to locate a couple that did not even work properly. Not all windows opened making the house rather warm at night. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, and plates/cups- but spices were very out of date. Overall our experience was pleasant, and it is very convenient to the town of Woodstock and Quechee.

Courtney,
Thank you for your response. This is the time of year when wasps are very active prior to hibernation. We have had the grounds checked several times for nests and none were located. The exterior of the house was freshly painted over the summer and the team made sure nothing was attached to the house.
We clearly mark that there is no fire pit in the amenities as it is a liability with everything so dry. I apologize that some of the photos showed a fire pit and they have been removed.
Regarding the windows, all of them open as we had them open this summer and several are new. I certainly wish you had reached out with questions regarding the windows, and we could have helped you figure it out.
Thanks,
Tara
As the title suggests, this property was an awesome find, and we had a wonderful time. The beds and seating in the living room were very comfortable, and the home décor was warm and inviting. The house was extremely clean, and the kitchen had all the amenities one would need for cooking. The elevated deck off the living room overlooks a beautiful property with a cluster of stunning white birches. The house location, on a quiet country road, was as perfect as it was very private, and yet has easy access to Woodstock. Having good cell phone service was a bonus, as that is not always the case in homes in the Woodstock area. We look forward to returning for another autumn adventure!

Our stay at the vacation house was simply fantastic! Nestled on a rural country road, the location provided a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to all attractions and places to visit.
The house was extremely clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the pots, pans, and dishes needed for cooking meals, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of spices provided.
Although there were only two of us staying this time, the bedroom setup would be perfect for a family or several friends. The master bedroom features a door leading to a loft area with a single bed, which would be ideal for a child. The other two bedrooms have twin beds, providing ample sleeping space for guests.
There are two bathrooms—one upstairs that is shared between the two bedrooms and a convenient bathroom downstairs.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept very well each night.
I would definitely recommend staying here, and I will certainly be back for another visit!

We had an amazing time staying at this house. Beautiful house. Very inviting, cozy, clean and great location. Anything we needed was available. Beds were extremely comfortable. You could not have asked for better scenery and the owners were extremely gracious and responsive. A very memorable trip. We will stay at this house again in the future if available.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful property. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. Close to Woodstock and all that it has to offer. We will definitely return.
