We had the best time staying in this cabin. It was very clean, and had everything we needed to have a fun, relaxing weekend. The hot tub, and porch swing/rockers were great, and we seen lots of deer both in the morning and evening. This place gets 5 stars! We will definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable
A very comfortable cabin. Close to many things in northern Georgia, yet lets you feel like you can get away from all the distractions and relax. Beautiful fall leaves were a bonus.

The property is located at the end of a dirt road, one mile up a narrow winding mountain road. I asked prior to booking and was told it is located on a paved road. The home smelled musty like it had not been used in a while. Some of the furnitute had not been dusted (see pic). The porch was molded and needed a good cleaning It is convenient to Blue Ridge and hiking.

Not as expected
Nice and secluded and great hot tub. The cabin could use a deep clean and the outside bushes around back door could use cutting and a general cleaning of that area. Outdoor trash can was left full so we had to leave out trash inside

Autumn Colors in North Georgia Mountains
The Autumn Colors within the North Georgia Mountains was beautiful and that was our reason for our trip. We are Senior Citizen and appreciate the simple things in life. We were disappointed with the management of the service for this particular cabin, the cleanest was lacking and the outside trash can receptacles were filled with previous tenant's trash. Watching the TV cost us an additional $64.00 causing me to download the YouTube TV application and having to pay for the subscription just to have the capability to watch TV. This was very disappointing.
This is a very private and comfortable cabin that is nestled in the woods. The basics are there, but plan on bringing coffee filters, spices, oils, etc. if you plan to cook in any capacity.

Great Getaway
Wonderful spot for a quick getaway. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Communication fast, easy and reliable.
Nice, cozy, secluded cabin. Perfect for a nice couple getaway. My Husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit. We got to see deers and wild turkeys. We'll definitely book this cabin again.
Due to the checkin and check out times the trip cost me another 2 days but I guess I can’t have everything , my only complaint was the noise of the water pump for the hot tub , but the cabin was great , the road to the cabin was daunting sometimes scary for a towny , but looking back , I totally enjoyed my stay at bear cove .
Cons:
The gravel drop-off to the drive way is nothing short of the nightmare everyone has about driving over a cliff, and the phrase “hidden or invisible driveway,” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
I hope you like off-roading, with sharp turns and potholes…
The cabin looks like the pictures when you arrive, no surprises there, but the lack of a dishwasher was a disappointment.
Additionally, it would have been nice to have a consistent set of instructions for operating the hot tub, with one set saying to set it to 80 and the other to 90.
If you sleep with earplugs in you’re fine, but if not the left bedroom window is right next to the hot tub, and the motor noisily cycles all night long to maintain the temperature (no on/off switch visible).
Buy and/or bring essentials, because two small rolls of toilet paper were all that was provided, for two adults staying 5 days/4 nights.
It would have been nice to have a list of what was actually stocked in the cabin, we ended up buying a lot of condiments, spices, etc., because we didn’t know what to expect.
The in-cabin book mentions backpacks provided for hiking, to pack out and carry back trash or food items to prevent littering, but none were available.
Thermostat instructions would have been nice, luckily it was similar to the model I have at home, because there wasn’t anything to refer to.
The TV wouldn’t connect to Netflix, looked like it had been dropped on the left side (warped), and had difficulty maintaining streaming services.
Strip the beds, do a load of laundry (towels), wash the dishes…Their check out procedures left me feeling like I was at home instead of on vacation. What exactly is housekeeping doing, if I’m cleaning up?
Couldn’t read the stove knobs, had to guess which did what, when trying to cook meals. Old stove, not even a manual available online.
Advertised board games on site, we found a box of dominoes, but nothing else.
One spare blanket in a drawer, with only sheets and thin quilts on the beds, left us cold at night.
There was an odd sewage smell outside the cabin, no obvious cause or origin.
Pros:
Beautiful scenery.
Quiet when the hot tub wasn’t cycling.
Good proximity to the Bigfoot Experience, and Ellijay.
Clean.
Quick hot water for showers (didn’t have to wait long for the water to get warm).
Nicely decorated, good use of space.
Beds were comfortable.
Easy to check-in, and access the cabin (number-pad, no keys to pick up or drop off).
This cute little cabin is located only a mile off the main road, but still nice and secluded. Everything was as listed and the cabin was super clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit.
We found the cabin nestled in the forest to be perfect for a couple. The cabin was clean and had the appropriate supply of linens. The queen bed was comfy and the other room had a full. The deck with the hot tub was a bonus! The gas fireplace took the chill out if the cabin but on our visit the fall weather was perfect. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding sights and experiences.
Definitely will return in the future!
The cabin was in good distance from down town Blue Ridge. We loved watching the turkey and deer play.
The location was excellent. We really enjoyed the cabin. We will definitely be going back, and sharing the location, and cabin with friends, that are looking for a place to stay.
This beautiful cabin is tucked away in the valley of a mountain. Me and my family had a great time soaking in the hot tub, grilling chicken and taking a hike. Perfect timing with the leaves changing colors. It was so beautiful!
Loved this cozy cabin for an impromptu few days away with my husband. It just melted the stress right away. So cute and comfortable! Lives the hot tub right on the front deck. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you Bear Cove! Would love to return again one day soon!

October get away
Once we got over the steep narrow drive up and down Cherry Log mountain and a steep drop off drive way to the house, it was great. Nice having hot tub after exploring mountain trails and water falls. Beautiful but small cabin just right for a couple retreat and maybe 2 small children.
