Fantastic

This property was perfect for us, and exactly as represented in the photos. We had a group of family members visiting from Germany, several who had never been to the United States before, and what a perfect welcome this was. The property management team at 360blue was also terrific. I will stay here again!

Winner!

We loved our time at The Salty Dog, the house was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and perfectly placed on the beach. We were impressed with the amenities and the shape of everything was new and in working order. The 360 management company was a class act. Would love to visit this property again our family felt this was definitely a “winner!”

Almost Perfect

Overall we were pleased with this property. The house is beautiful & well appointed. Just like the pictures show. There are some areas that need improvement. We were a family of 8 adults & a 1 year old (4 couples). The bedrooms were smaller than anticipated. There was no room to set up a port-a-crib in any of the bedrooms on the second floor. We ended up making a pallet on the floor in the parents room which worked out for the baby but left no room to walk around. We were not comfortable having her in a separate room on a different floor (the bunk room). The kitchen was under stocked for an accommodation that sleeps12. We ate most meals in & cooked daily. There were only 2 dish towels, no dish cloths. We ended up using extra bathroom towels in the kitchen. Minimal cookware available with more pots & pans/skillets needed. Plenty of silverware, dishes & utensils; Not nearly enough glasses. We purchased some plastic ones at the dollar store (which we left for the next group). Dishwasher is small & had to be run more than once a day In order to have sufficient dishes for the next meal. It was run after lunch and dinner each day. Plus a lot of hand washing of larger items or prep dishes. The views from the balconies are wonderful. Having metal furniture on the third floor balcony which receives direct sunlight should be reconsidered. The metal would heat up to the point where you would burn arms & legs when sitting or touching the tables. The living room needs more seating. It is the only gathering spot & barely fit 6. The gate was locked with a key which made the yard inaccessible except through the house. We used the grill multiple times. It was clean & worked well..The elevator is a must but could be finicky at times. Plenty of hot water & having multiple laundry facilities was great! Please add a vacuum for use by guests. We had a couple of messes that would have been easier to vacuum up instead of trying to use a broom on carpet. The extra fridge in the garage came in handy along with the mini-fridge on the first floor. I would suggest adding a private property sign on the beach access. Perhaps “For Salty Dog residents only”.. We had multiple people trying to get through or who go stuck on the walkway from the beach. People thought they could use any beach access code on any gate. We appreciated having the beach service and used it daily. The man who does the setup is very nice. Beautiful, spacious beach. We would consider staying here again.

Beautiful home!

Great location and the house is just as nice as the pictures. We had trouble with the wifi one day but 360 sent someone out within an hour. The house was clean upon arrival & was well stocked in terms of appliances. Make sure you pack extra liquid hand soap & dish soap as there was not much there. Washer & dryer on top & bottom floor was an extra touch & the elevator was really helpful. The only disappointment was the bunk beds. There is no rail on the top bunk so we were not able to let the kids sleep there. Other than that, the beach set up & location was a dream! We had 4 adults & 4 kids and the house was more than comfortable.
