Tybee Retreat Unit 2

Welcome to Tybee Retreat; a RARE find on the island as it provides the opportunity to rent 1,2,3 or all 4 condos! Located just 1 block from the beach with direct beach access via a private street where you can enjoy one of the most sought after beaches on Island! This home includes a working elevator so it is handicap accessible; No stairs are necessary for full access to the property.

Located on the South end of Tybee Island just steps away to the 18th Street beach access. This extremely desirable location has the perks of being where all of the action is (STEPS from the beach and a SHORT walk to the island's amenities such as shops, restaurants, and bars) but is tucked away on a private drive to provide privacy and serenity for your beach vacation.

Tybee Retreat's condo#2 offers an open concept living space that is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. The comfortably furnished living space gives way to the covered patio that features a teak dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. Come and enjoy!

Bedroom 1: king sized bed, flat screen TV, with the bathroom down the hall

Bedroom 2: king sized bed, flat-screen TV, and an attached private bathroom with a walk-in tub/shower combo.

Bedroom 3: two queen-sized beds, flat screen TV, en-suite walk in shower.

The condo is also equipped with a full sized washing machine and dryer.

Getting Around:
You won't have to drive anywhere, simply park for free and go and enjoy the beach, bars, shops, and restaurants the island has to offer. Tybee Retreat has a total of four condo units, each having covered ground level parking for two vehicles. Please note over-sized trucks and SUV's may not fit under this covered parking area.

Other Things to Note:
Since we consider Tybee Retreat to be a family friendly property and we know Pets are just as much family as our own children, Pets are permitted with approval and additional pet fees (maximum of 2 dogs, Cats are not permitted). A pet fee of $35 per pet per night is required.

In the garage guests have access to beach carts, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and sand toys (on a first come first serve bases).

High-speed WIFI is available throughout the property.

Great home away from home

Had a small issue at check in, but the host corrected right away and was easy to communicate with. There was a perfect amount of space for 4 of us with plenty of room to spare! Easy walk to beach, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

Family Vacation

This place was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The owner/cleaning crew were friendy and keep up to date on weather and anything else going on around us. Everything was within walking distance mostly so we didnt need our car much. Thank you so much we will definitely be back and want to stay here again .

This was a great location to Tybee town and beach. The property was clean and plenty of room for large family. Only issue we had was the "early" morning noise from tenants above us. We will definitely stay there again but get the top floor.

The location was perfect! Tucked directly between the beach and restaurants and shops and short block walk to each. The condo was very clean. We were missing some frying pans and towels but the property manager supplied them quickly and the communication was easy and very helpful. We would stay again!

Birthday Celebration

We love Tybee and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. So for my daughters birthday we decided to do a rental and glad we did. The condo was very clean and within walking distance to the beach. Only issue walls are a little thin so we heard out upstairs neighbors but other than that great stay! Would suggest they put transition strips on floor from bedrooms to hallway!

Much needed Beach relaxation!

My husband and I both work OT weekly. We have two children in college and one in middle school. So finding time and the opportunity to hang out and enjoy each other is a challenge. This was the perfect size rental for us! With 4 large beds, a deck, full living and dining space we had room to hang. It was a short walk to the beach and an easy walk to the back bay to fish and sunset watch. It was close to restaurants, nightlife and entertainment.

OK stay

I had requested a condo on beach, we were a 2 blocks away no ocean view. Parking was unbareable. The guests that stayed in condo next to us kept blocking us in. Sliding glass door broken and hard to close baby got his fingers pinched in door, needs to be fixed. Condo was clean and comfortable. was OK stay but most likely not using this company for booking anymore

Filthy and dangerous

We loved the property itself but it was very dirty. Under the furniture and beds was very dirty and I had to clean out wrappers, doll heads, trash and other items from under the beds and furniture because my puppy kept finding things under there. The cupboards were moldy and covered in grime (we washed one off with a washcloth and it came off brown) and we had cockroaches (I understand they’re everywhere in the south, my brother lives in Savannah but this was a lot). To top it all off, on our second to last day we turned on the oven to bake a pie. As it was preheating it started smoking and when we opened it we discovered a plastic mat on the bottom had caught fully on fire. My mother managed to remove it and get it into the sink where we put out the flames. This is just plain dangerous and we have no idea why that mat was in there. It was black so when we checked to make sure the oven was empty it blended in with the bottom of the oven (I think it was meant to be a spill liner but was clearly flammable). Nice place but it needs to be deeply cleaned!!! I have photos but the review isn’t allowing me to submit them.
