Stunning lakefront home is an amazing hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Located on a quiet cove off of the main body, your views of sunrises are amazing! 3 miles from downtown Granbury, you are away from it all yet a short ride to shopping, dining and the Granbury town square. Go for a kayak trip-- there are plenty of wetlands and a small island to explore. 5 single kayaks and one double. Sit on the porch and sip some coffee or a cocktail, there are plenty of fans to keep you comfy in the summer. Hot tub new this year!Read in the deep library chairs with a lake view! Tons of board games. Huge table seats 10, excellent for art retreats or large dinners! Lots of seating and plenty of room to spread out. Water is around 7 feet deep at the end of the dock, so last one in is a rotten egg! Speaking of rotten eggs, this entire area is serviced by well water and house water can have a sulphur smell. All measures taken to lessen it with various water treatments, but it can still be noticeable! Kitchen with all amenities, 12 cup coffee pot, Keurig, espresso maker, electric griddle, blender, full use of french door refrigerator and more. Amazing master bathroom shower lends a true spa like atmosphere. Pack n'play for infants or small children, kids utensils,toys and coloring books to keep them busy! 5 kayaks are provided along with multiple sizes of life jackets. Bring your own floats and sit out in the water all day! Truly a paradise here in Texas. Close to DFW, less than an hour from Fort Worth and so many other day trip destinations such as Glen Rose and Waco. Good fishing off of the dock so bring your poles. Boat launch is a 30 second drive if you bring your boat or jet skis! Local grocery at the end of the road for last minute shopping. We are true adventurers and lovers of the great outdoors. We have been camping and hiking for most of our lives. As a family, we go camping as often as possible and always by water. Our family have put a lot of love into making this lake home an amazing and relaxing place and we truly hope that you will love it as we do.
Why they chose this property
This home is truly a lakefront beauty with all of the comforts of home. Wake up and drink your coffee on the porch or down on the dock. Watch fish jump and cardinals fly by. Are you here in the spring? Canadian geese make this area their breeding grounds. Herons and egrets fish out of our bay. There is a peaceful nature set against the background of watching the water flow by.
