The home has an odd layout that works great for couples/families traveling together as everyone has their own space with great common areas. The kitchen sink had horrible water pressure but that was really the only downfall to this quaint home
First off we appreciated the owner letting us check in early. However we were very disappointed that the back of the house where the kitchen, twin size beds and one of the king beds did not have air conditioning that worked correctly. We informed the owner of this and she did have someone come out who said they fixed it but this was not the case. The air conditioning did not get below 74 degrees and the back bedroom where the king size bed was at least 10 degrees higher because it barely blew out of the vent. Half of our party left early because they were unable to handle the heat in the back part of the house. This did not seem like a new issue I believe it was an existing issue. We also experienced issues with the back bathroom shower does not get hot it was like warm at best. Lastly the roof leaks in the front of the house where the first living area is. When it rained it left a huge puddle on the floor.
This place is great for family’s and allowed for privacy and noise blocker from kids playing as well. Loved this house and all the built in and the way this house is set up. Was the best I have stayed at this far thank you
Great space for a larger group to stay and spend time together. Bedrooms spaced so everyone felt they had plenty of room and privacy. Beautiful and private courtyard for time outside.
We had four people with their own rooms and it was very spacious so I could see that a group of eight would be equally comfortable. (One bedroom has ywo twin beds no window so more suitable for kids). There is a tv room off the master with a futon that could easily be for another person. Two living areas. Plenty of room. Enclosed backyard with plenty of table seating. During the week there is a machine shop that we had some noise from but on the weekend it was nice and quiet. It's not walking distance to anything but it is a very easy drive pretty much to anywhere like 10 to 15 minutes you're at the beach or downtown. So if you have a group and you're looking for a clean comfortable place where everyone can have some room to spread out I think this would be really good place. Room for kids to play. As advertised.
We had a great stay at the Magnolia house- we were in close proximity to so much, it was great having a grill and fire pit, the extra snacks and coffee were greatly appreciated. We would stay here again if we come back to St. Petersburg and would recommend to others staying in the area!
Our family enjoyed staying at this home while in the St. Petersburg area. It was really roomy which we all loved. It was located next to a large commercial building which was a bit noisy when we went outside in the back yard. Great price though!
The owners thought of everything! There were 2 Keurigs (with complimentary K cups), pack-in-play, booster seat, plenty of kitchen dishes/pots, even a few toys. The layout of the house was perfect for giving separate spaces! There was essentially 2 living spaces with a door to separate them. In the front of the house there were 2 bedrooms, a living room (with a fold out couch) and a kitchenette table area with a sink. The master bedroom with a bath and sitting area was in this space and also another full bathroom. Then there was a laundry and office combination area before you head into the kitchen WITH A DOOR. This enables you to shut off the space from the noisy kitchen area (GREAT for late night games or napping toddlers!!) On the other side of the house, once you pass through the kitchen, there is a dining table, another living area with a large sectional couch (not fold out), a full bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. Multiple rooms had access to the courtyard that was nicely closed in.
This was my first experience renting any kind of BnB and it perfectly suited our needs of separate family areas for private space and nice areas for recreation!!
I stayed here with 13 of my friends and the house was perfect! So many places to sleep and everything was so clean when we got there. The backyard was adorable and a great spot to hangout. It was also a short 10 min drive to downtown st Pete which was super convenient!!! 10/10 experience !!
