Cute 2BR/1BA Cottage by River & Golf Course on Island!

Located just off Savannah Country Club’s Golf Course, guests will have the pleasure of staying in a Private 2 Bedroom/1 Bath Coastal Cottage. Currently set up with 1 King Bedroom and a twin bedroom with a working desk space! Vintage 1950s bathroom but updated mini Kitchen with brand new retro style Fridge, Microwave, Keurig & Gas Stove. Wilmington Island is unique in that it sits 15 minutes to either Downtown Savannah or Tybee Island Beach. Space for 2 vehicles to park.

Please be aware that the driveway connects to a larger home behind it.

All pets must be preapproved before booking. We do not allow cats/other animals.
*Dogs are WELCOME! However, you must indicate the size, breed, and age in your booking ahead of time, so please do not instantly book if you intend to bring a dog (Pitbull or Bully Breeds, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann or Any other aggressive breed are not allowed). A pet fee of $100 will be required per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in.

Please note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. However, starting from the 8th day, it's mandatory to have the cleaning service and fee.

While visiting family, I had a great stay on Wilmington island. Cottage is clean, perfect size for a couple or small family. In great location close to grocery stores, restaurants etc.Jenny made sure I had everything I needed. Will definately return.

Cute Riverhome on Wilmington Island!

We were in town for a short 2 nights and were looking for a comfortable place to stay. Unfortunately, this place had fleas when we arrived. Our dog was covered in flea bites when we left. The furniture was stiff and uncomfortable, it wasn't a pleasant stay. The chairs outside were covered in green mildew and the fire pit was completely full of water the entire time. We were very disappointed, I would not recommend.

Best host response time ever

Property was exactly as described, clean and ready to go when we arrived. Self check-in very convenient. We had an issue with the A/C, but the host responded immediately and dispatched a service tech - it was already fixed right as we returned from grocery shopping! I wish most hosts were even half that responsive.

Good stay!

Overall a great stay! We had some issues with the lack of privacy due to no curtains in kitchen/living room. We made make shift curtains. Also there are no mirrors in the bedrooms which was a little difficult. Unless, you don’t care to get ready in the kitchen. Confusing check out instructions as the binder said something different than the test messages. We got it sorted out though! Overall, good though!

The cottage was very damp and musty. We were worried about breathing issues and getting sick. The cushions on the outdoor furniture were soaking wet with green moss growing on the sides. The gas firepit did not work.

Improvements could be made

The property was cleans and as represented but small improvements could be made to make the stay better. The improvements I would suggest are folding luggage racks for both bedrooms , toilet seat height raised, a drying rack for dishes since there is no dishwasher, a wine opener. A large improvement would be having a much smaller washer/dryer in the second bedroom closet so the room could have a closet are to hang items and the room would feel much larger. The entry to the property is very dark at night- easily missed if not going very slow - so a light would be nice. Overall our stay was very nice. The location for our needs was perfect but I feel the price was too high. The host was quick to respond to all questions and inquiries

Long weekend in Georgia

We stayed for a long weekend and were pleased with the cottage. It’s located in an attractive quiet neighborhood about halfway between Tybee Island and Savannah. Everything was neat and clean for our arrival. Fluffy white towels, soft white bedding and brand new cookware. Also good lighting in the bathroom. Thanks for hosting us!
