Very good location and nice to have a large enough space for kids to sleep and parents, especially this central. Great to have laundry and the ability to cook. We scored this location 4 stars for cleanliness (one well used bar soap & very well used scrubbie to wash dishes) and in general we had to get ammenities we thought were included (shampoo/conditioner/soap, limited towels, no dishwasher tabs). All that aside, space was great for a 4 person family. We could walk to everything and enjoyed visiting the city.

We loved staying in an apartment with kitchen and laundry. It was spacious for city living and close to main attractions.
This rental is shabbier than it appears in the photos: the hardwood floor in front of the bathroom is rotting, a plastic cup is in place under a radiator to catch the drips, and the dishwasher smells of rotten milk. We asked ahead whether there would be shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer, and were told yes, but in fact there was no shampoo or conditioner, and the hairdryer is all bandaged up with ancient tape. The soap dish contained a used bar of soap from the previous renters. So bring your own bathroom supplies! There was one very-used bath towel for each person, and a single hand-towel per bathroom, but no additional hand towels or washcloths. When we asked about laundry soap, it was actually delivered to us. But the woman who brought it hollered “coucou” into our open kitchen window to get our attention, and handed it through, rather than knocking on the front door. The beds seem to be of unusually small sizes. The master bed was not long enough to accommodate a 6-foot person. The children’s beds were extra-narrow with very hard mattresses, and were quite uncomfortable for our teens. The unit seems to have no temperature control, and thus no way to stop the radiator heaters from banging and clanking by night or by day.The apartment is on the first floor, with a lot of noise from above. The neighborhood was quiet and the size of the unit pretty big for Paris, but the management is not very professional, and the maintenance is poor.

The location is very convenient to the Eiffel Tower and close to several Metro lines. The property was clean; however, it needs some repairs that affected our stay. Warped floorboards outside the master bedroom felt unsafe. The bathroom door is very difficult to open and several others would not shut properly. It was essentially impossible to use any doors without making noise enough to wake/disturb others. The doors to the second bedroom are just glass and several panels are missing, so it offered no privacy. Our biggest issue is that we did not have exclusive and secure access to the property. Our second day, the host asked us to allow access for a real estate showing in just a few hours (he’s apparently trying to sell). We said no because we were uncomfortable having someone there when we weren’t present (our passports and personal items were there). He then had his real estate agent call and pressure us to allow access; she offered us reimbursement for either one night stay or the entire stay(!), so we accepted reimbursement of one night as reasonable compensation. The host has now refused to reimburse one night as agreed, and apparently thought that having his caretaker send us a video of her placing a gift bag of chocolates through a window while we were out (showing us that the property was unsecured) would suffice instead. The experience was very frustrating and was definitely the low part of an otherwise pleasant visit to Paris. We do not recommend this rental.
