"Le gîte du bout, 100m from the sea

Welcome to the "Gîte du Bout,"

Come enjoy this apartment with a terrace, located about 100 metres from the beach, featuring a shared garden.

This property is managed by H'Elo Conciergerie, a concierge service dedicated to its guests.

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this apartment features:

- a living/dining area
- a kitchenette
- a bedroom with a 140-cm double bed on the ground floor and a closet
- a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and washing machine.

- Stove (2-burner gas cooktop and oven)
- Microwave
- Senseo coffee machine and drip coffee maker
- Electric kettle
- Toaster

To access the ground floor, there is a fairly steep staircase leading to two sleeping areas on the mezzanine (bed linens not included), with very low ceilings (approximately 1.30 metres high).
In the first sleeping area, you’ll find a 140cm double mattress, and in the second, two single mattresses. This first-floor space is perfect for children or teenagers (not suitable for adults or young children).
PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to bring your own sheets for this sleeping area, as they are not included.

You’ll have access to a private terrace as well as a garden shared with the two neighbouring cottages.
You can easily park in the garden during the summer; however, in winter, it’s best to park on the street (free of charge) to avoid getting stuck in the grass.

Included: linens (towels, tea towels, bath mats, and sheets for the bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor)
A welcome kit including a roll of toilet paper, a sponge, dish soap, and a trash bag will be waiting for you in the apartment.
For the rest of your stay, we’ll leave it up to you to purchase whatever you need.

You’ll have access to the entire apartment and your private terrace. However, the garden is shared with the other two holiday rentals.

You’ll receive a set of keys.
Check-in is self-service via a key box.

Asnelles is a small town located in the Calvados department, in Normandy, France. It is best known for its beautiful sandy beach and its history tied to the Allied landings during World War II.

As for activities, Asnelles Beach is a popular spot for swimming, relaxing, and water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Visitors can enjoy the calm waters and sandy shores for walking, swimming, or simply relaxing.

The history of the Allied landings is also very much alive in Asnelles. You can visit the America Gold Beach Museum to learn more about the events that took place on this beach on June 6, 1944. The museum displays artefacts and equipment used by soldiers during the landings.

As for local businesses, Asnelles offers a few options to meet the needs of visitors and residents alike. You’ll find restaurants serving traditional Norman dishes, crêperies, cafés, and bars where you can grab a bite to eat and relax.

There are also a few small local shops, such as supermarkets, bakeries, and souvenir shops where you can buy regional products or items related to the area’s history. A Carrefour Contact at the entrance to town is also available for your shopping needs.

DON’T MISS: the Asnelles cookie factory, famous for its shortbread cookies.

Asnelles is located between Arromanches-les-Bains and Courseulles-sur-Mer, a few kilometres from Bayeux.

You can park your car in the garden at the back so as not to disturb the other guests. Please note: in winter or when it rains heavily, it’s best to park outside the garden, as the ground is grass and you risk getting stuck.

A bus stops in town for your travel needs.

Bayeux train station is 20 minutes away, and Caen Airport is 30 minutes away.
