Our home is 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville and convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are in a typical neighborhood, yet our property is nestled behind another house making it a quite and relaxing environment. You will walk into our open floor plan which provides plenty of space to relax, sit back, and enjoy your vacation. The four bedroom accommodates 8 sleepers comfortably. You can enjoy the porch swing on the front porch or grill on the back porch. Please feel free to pull out the camping chairs and build yourself a fire in the fire pit. Previous reviews mention their favorite hang out place being the front and back porches.

Such a great spot to stay! Tucked back from the road and super clean and homey. Girls loved the bedroom, which they named the Princess and the Pea room.
Our family had a wonderful stay! The home is cozy, clean and well appointed. It is in a great location - close to downtown and everything that we wanted to do. The hosts are wonderful! We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
This place is exactly as advertised. Spacious. Comfortable. Great deck/porches. Lots of little touches which make it a great rental: nightlights, box of bandaids, drawer just like the one I have at home with scissors, tape, random odds and ends. We loved staying here.
This house was perfect for our girls trip to Asheville. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the fireflies into the evening. If we weren’t on the porch, we were sitting inside and enjoying the beautiful living space. The house has a farm house feel and was absolutely perfect for our visit. The special touches are throughout every room and were very inviting. I highly recommend this house for your next Asheville visit.
We had an excellent experience during our stay in Asheville. This property was clean, decorated well and had all the needed perks of a stay away from home. After long days experiencing the attractions of the area, it was nice to return to a quiet place and relax in the front room on plush leather furniture. My niece enjoyed the coziness of the chaise lounger after our long days out in Asheville.
The home is tucked away in a quaint neighborhood near I-40 and was somewhat hard to find. For this reason, I recommend arriving prior to nightfall. Overall, great experience.
We enjoyed staying at this home for our long weekend for a girl's getaway. All beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for doing our own cooking. The house is down a long driveway on a decline that was somewhat of a challenge to figure out the best way to park so leaving wasn't an issue. Overall we are glad we stayed there and recommend it to others.
We were in Asheville for my son's wedding with 6 of us. The house had plenty of space, bathrooms and beds for everyone! It was VERY cute and clean! The vacinity to Asheville and the mountains was perfect! Would highly recommend!
This house was so pleasantly clean and tastefully decorated! The host was communicative and responsive. Only gave 4/5 stars for location bc the driveway is rather hidden and not marked well. Other than that this is a 5/5 stay!
An in-person week long training in another state transitioned to "live" on-line training for our team of three. Needing a space conducive for focusing, reliable Internet, comfortable and convenient to all attendees; this was a perfect choice.
Check in was clear. The key-less entry box did require a couple of tries before we figured it out (push that top lock button and wait for the keyboard to light up green then enter the code). Maggie was an excellent host with timely and clear communication.
This Oakley home was immaculate, beautifully decorated as shown in the listing and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
We will recommend this home to others and stay here again!
Thank you, Maggie!
Warm, cozy house. The layout was perfect for privacy and an open area for togetherness. The location was great. Very comfy beds. Super clean bathrooms and house. We want to come back for a longer stay! The End ☺️

About the host
Hosted by Maggie Cathcart
I have lived in Asheville since 2005. I have a beautiful daughter. Our greatest passion is to love God and to love people exceptionally well! We really enjoy having our family and friends over a lot, going hiking on the weekends, eating great food at different restaurants in the area, and serving our city as a part of our faith community.
Why they chose this property
This property is convenient to many areas of Asheville. You can get to downtown in 15 minutes or less. You can hop onto the parkway, head over to the mall or Biltmore in 10 minutes or less and much much more.
What makes this property unique
Our home sits on a flag lot with our home tucked behind another home. This allows for a quiet setting with a large yard as a barrier from the road. Other homes are near by, but oddly enough feels private.
