Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Last piece of truly Old Florida

One of the most relaxing towns I've ever visited....we definitely be back, especially since its only 2.5hrs from me....the room was perfectly set up for anything that you'd need for a stay and the location cant be beat....

Unit needs a make-over

The location of the unit is excellent. The balcony has a fantastic view of the Gulf. However, the interior is very dated. It could use a lick of paint to brighten it, and definitely some new furniture. I was shocked to see dark brown sheets on the bed, not crisp, white sheets you usually find in a rental space.

Perfect Weekend

Everything about our stay was perfect. From the moment we walked in the door of the condo we knew it was as advertised and better. Great view and great location to everything we wanted to do. Walked everywhere and never started the car until we left for home. Very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The cold beer mugs in the cooler were a unexpected but thoughtful bonus. Truly relaxed in the evening after a great dinner out, sitting on the lanai listening to lapping waves and watching the stars and blinking channel lights. We will go again.

Location was perfect, Unit was Not as pictured. Unit not in very good condition.

I would stay at the same condos, but not in that unit. It was very tight due to the oversized furniture for small place. Many repairs are needed. Toilet, Sink, Floor damaged, Lamp not working, Couch smells of Urine ( they tried to clean it, but couch needs to be replaced).

Peaceful Paradise

Enjoyed everything about our stay. From our porch we watched the birds, dolphins, fishing action on the pier, the boats coming and going. The walks around the island and the beautiful sunsets along with some great meals. Cedar Key is a real gem and we can’t wait to come back !!!

Two weeks in Cedar Key, on the water. Great location close walk to everything in the island. Condo was clean and neat. Only negative is the cell phone reception - not good at all.

Relaxing stay on the Gulf

Property had easy check in process .. unit was in excellent condition and clean throughout. We came for rest and relaxation, and we fond it! Great little town .. small, friendly and definitely a throwback to the old days. I hope it stays this way because we'll be back!
