Villa Cherimoya is perfect for those wishing to visit the sleepy yet bustling fishing/surfing village of Sayulita. - Location - Location - Location - This villa is located in the tranquil 'North End' neighborhood with Sayulita's wonderful white sandy beach just a 3 minute walk away. Exploring the village and great beachfront restaurants are just a short level 10 minute walk away along the palm lined beach. Most guests choose not to rent a car as everything is within walking distance! If desired, we can arrange your airport transfers in an air conditioned SUV with a stop at a grocery store. Cost is $3,500 (up to 3 people) $4,000 (4 or more) MXN PESOS roundtrip and included beverages.

Villa Cherimoya (The Custard Apple) features two master-bedroom-bathroom suites with air conditioning, spacious living and dining areas that open onto a beautiful terrace and private saline splash pool with treetop views toward the ocean, plus a den with pull out sofa-bed, air conditioning and private patio. The villa has a state of the art UV water purification system, so no bottled water required. It also comes with a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. There is off street parking and maid service included in your stay. The villa is best suited for up to 4 guests or 2 couples with a maximum of 5 people with 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and the sleeper sofa in the den.

Enjoy views of swaying palm trees with gentle breezes while soaking in the pool or soaking up the sun in one of the comfortable lounge chairs. Open living and dining areas with a beautiful terrace and private splash pool make Villa Cherimoya the perfect quality vacation home for couples or families.

We loved that the Villa wasn't too big, was quite private and close enough to be able to walk to nearly everything. The pool and deck were especially fun as we spent most of our time there.

Kim the onsite host was amazing. Waiting to great us and offer anything we needed. Massages at the house. The shuttle they set up stopped for groceries. They had golf carts there for us to rent for the week. Anything we needed Kim would make it happen. The house was perfect for 2 couples since both rooms had private bathrooms. Communication with the owner was always amazing. We loved our week In Sayulita and the location of the house makes everything within walking distance. The beach is only few blocks away and restaurants are super close. We could have just walked to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful stay – we would return in a heartbeat!Our stay at Villa Cherimoya was exceptional from start to finish. The home is beautiful, spacious, and exactly as described—if not better. The outdoor spaces were perfect for morning coffee and evening hangs, and the plunge pool was incredibly refreshing after a day at the beach.The location couldn’t be better: a short, easy walk to the beach and into the village, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The villa was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was incredibly comfortable and the perfect home base for our two weeks away in paradise.A special thank-you to Kim, our hostess, who was welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay and made everything seamless and stress-free. We also want to recognize Iris, our housekeeper, who did an amazing job and kept the villa spotless, which we truly appreciated.We felt safe, well taken care of, and completely at home. This was the perfect Sayulita getaway, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family. We’re already talking about coming back!

The house was great, location amazing. The pool is not salt water. The extra nook with a pull out bed is upstairs, the pull out couch is terrible ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room. There is no possible way to sleep 6 people at this house. Felt like we were being watched, every time we did something at the house, we would hear from the manager, or the house manager would show up on the property. Golf cart was great for them to provide, but very expensive almost 600us.

Unfair review as client Demanded a very late checkout when we needed to clean the Villa in order for the new clients to arrive Very rude to our workers on Christmas when the lady demanded our worker to come on Christmas eve very late! House was left a complete mess and beach towels lost. Fan was broken and client left the property gates open and neighbors informed us promptly. Security of the property as well as of our guests are the most important House rules were not followed and unkind guest that treats our staff in this manner is not appropriate. Golf carts and transportation are not charged by us as we only assist with this service and we do not set the prices. We aim for great reviews but when clients abuse the property and our workers, this is not fair! The property also states for 4 adults and max 5 so bot sure why they state 6 people. Unfair as all our last guest happy with the property as well as our warm and caring staff!

Perfect spot if you're looking to be a bit outside of the main square, close to the beach and in a quieter location. Communication with the Property Manager was great. He coordinated our pick up/drop off, golf cart for the entire week (not really needed if you're okay with getting your steps in, but nice to have) and cleaning throughout our 5-day stay. Pool was a lot smaller than we anticipated and there is no view, but it was great to have a spot to come back to to hangout and still be in/near the water that wasn't the beach.

Wonderful location with amazing hospitality!!!

We got incredibly lucky being able to book this spot last minute after a terrible rental experience elsewhere. Not only were the owners and property workers incredibly accommodating, but they went above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional stay. This property has two bedroom with wonderful clean bathrooms. It has a beautiful deck area and a lovely pool to cool off in during the day. The location is incredibly convenient for walking into town and yet is still so quiet at night time. Would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a fantastic time in Sayulita!

Great time in Sayulita and on the Nayarit Riviera

We loved the north side neighborhood and proximity to the beach. After a day out sightseeing, it was great to come back to a quiet, peaceful, clean and comfortable house. We used the pool and cabana area a lot, even during the rainy periods. Enjoyed the privacy of this part of the house, as well as the nature around us when we were outside -- trees, flowers, birds, butterflies. The hosts have created a very special place here.

Wonderful stay & Amazing hostess!

We had an amazing stay! Every detail was attended to by Olivia. We arrived on Xmas eve and Olivia and Barry were there to greet us and give us a tour of the home. Olivia arranged for our airport transfers and golf cart rental. And, on our first day, Olivia gave us a guided tour of town on our golf cart which was great to get our bearings and over-the-top helpful especially on Xmas day. She pointed out all the best restaurants, surf class, and town tips. The house was great for us. Close enough to town, but quiet and secluded. The house cleaner came daily. And what few issues we had were attended to immediately. There were boogie boards and beach chairs and Olivia left us a bottle of wine too! We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Loved our stay in Sayulita! The house was perfect!

My friends, husband and I stayed for 3 weeks at Villa Chimoya, we loved the home and the lush surroundings. At night we were happy to be on the quiet part of town with the awesome sounds of the ocean. On our arrival, Olivia and her husband took us around on golf carts to get a lay of the land. Her recommendations and insight on the area were much appreciated. Iris, the housekeeper came every other day and she was friendly and lovely. Luis the property manager came by a few times to check in, but things were well run so we didn’t need to bother him much. The pool was lovely, but it’s not in the sun so we were not able to use at all. A suggestion would be to possibly heat the pool in the cooler months. It was still lovely to sit around the deck area. We are looking forward to returning to Sayulita next January. We highly recommend this property!

Great First Visit to Sayulita

This was a great first stay in Sayulita. The house is modern and clean (for Mexico standards), Luis the caretaker, is nice and helpful but not intrusive. We had excellent response and communication from Olivia. We were a group of 3 x 50-something year olds. One couple and a friend. The 2 A/C QS bedrooms are well separated and are pretty much identical. There is no A/C in main living area which would be fine I’m sure, most of the year. The living area is also smaller in person than it appears in the photos. It can get a little warm if there is no breeze and it’s hot outside. Kitchen is fairly well equipped for cooking basic stovetop meals. The property is well positioned. Quiet and close to restaurants and town and beach. We did not require a golf cart during our stay. No complaints. It’s a very well kept property.

Wonderful vacation in Sayulita!

We had a wonderful visit to this property in Sayulita. The house was perfect for our family of 4. The house has everything you need to feel at home, including a nicely stocked kitchen (with sharp knives!!!!), allowing for meal prep if you like. But you may want to reconsider how much cooking you do at the house because the food in Sayulita is AMAZING! The property itself is immaculate, safe, and quiet. Located on the northern end of town is a bonus as the city is busy and noisy, but this isn't an issue at this house. Everything is walkable, the beach, restaurants, and shopping. I suggest getting a golf cart or walking. Having a car in the town would be difficult, and it isn't necessary everything is very close and easy to get to. Olivia is the best host we have ever had! She was helpful with our transportation and golf cart rental before our arrival. When we arrived, she took considerable time to drive us around town and showed us all the best places to eat, shop, and beach. It was helpful and improved our vacation as we had some idea of navigating the downtown Sayulita area. If you are planning to vacation in Sayulita this property can't be beat!

An Ideal Retreat

Villa Cherimoya was the perfect location for four good friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. We were there for one week and in hindsight should have stayed two! There were four women in our group and the two-story floor plan worked well for us with a bedroom and bathroom on each level. The living area is very comfortable and the sliders open to the outside for a spacious flow. The deck around the private pool is roomy and we spent our afternoons there lounging, visiting, and napping. The kitchen is fully equipped, which gave us the flexibility to have breakfasts and lunches in when we chose. There is also a full sized washer and dryer, which is great if you want to travel light. The tropical setting is picturesque with perfectly manicured grounds. The caretaker, Jose, was helpful. He was considerate of our time and privacy, but was available to assist us as needed. The housekeeper, Iris, is friendly and keeps the house clean. She also makes great guacamole and salsa! The location of Villa Cherimoya is ideal. You can walk to the center of town and the more crowded beach area in 10 minutes, but if you prefer a less active beach spot, the walk is less than 5 minutes. Sayulita is a very safe feeling town with numerous dining and drinking options. The locals are pleasant and there are a lot of very friendly little dogs. The owners, Rusty and Ernst, are very helpful which made our stay enjoyable and easy. They assisted in arranging transportation for us from the Puerto Vallarta Airport to Sayulita, with a stop the Mega grocery store for supplies. They also are a great source of information about where to eat, swim, and if you are so inclined, exercise.

Great Getaway

This property is fantastic! Having stayed in many apartments, I would definitely rank this property highly. It has a great location that's close to town (easily walkable) but is still private, great amenities including the pool, as well as easy communication with Olivia and property manager Luis. Would highly recommend!
