Get ready to make great memories at our New Retreat close to the lake! You have difficulty choosing where to spend your time in this splendidly designed home indoor, and outdoor. Watch and feed the deer that visit our house daily, relax around fire pit under string lights, soak in our brand new hot tub, grill and gather inside for dining or cuddle up under comfortable linens. New 7 person hot tub! Foosball and board games, the fun continues at the Retreat House!

Our retreat is a newly built home with all new furnishings. Each room and outdoor is designed keeping families and a small group of friends in mind. You will find everything you need for a luxurious and relaxing vacation at this home away from home.

The living room has seating for 8 that includes one sleeper sofa. Sit back and enjoy Netflix/Hulu on 65 inches Smart TV. High-Speed internet available. Choose any board game displayed right on the TV console.

The kitchen is well equipped with all essentials including a toaster, blender, waffle maker. The dual-mode single-serve/ whole pot coffee maker is sure to meet your needs for one or all. All silverware, utensils, pans, pots were carefully selected for your best culinary experience. Stainless steel appliances- refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, microwave, dishwasher for your convenience.

The utility room has a full-size washer dryer, and a vacuum cleaner, a Swiffer mop, a broom, a step stool, an iron with board, umbrellas, a first aid kit, and other cleaning essentials and extras.

The dining area has a good size counter-high table that seats 8, gather around.

One bedroom has a king bed, an office space, smart TV, and en suite bathroom with dual sinks and shower/tub combination. He and she closet for your extended stays. The next bedroom has a twin bunk bed for children and can easily accommodate adults. The foosball table is a hit. The third bedroom has a queen bed, bright and welcoming with deer decor. You can watch deer through the large window facing the front yard.

The sleeper sofa in the living room has a clean sheet folded on it, find blankets in the king bedroom closet.

Backyard has a 5 plus 1 burner propane grill, the tank is provided for you. Outdoor is a real retreat with a firepit under string lights, the patio has nice additional seating.

Our house is located on the south side of Canyon Lake with close access to public boat ramps. Comal Park and boat ramp #5 are only 5 minutes away, Cranesmill marina is very close by. The famous Whitewater Amphitheater music venue and Guadalupe River Horseshoe area tubing experiences are just under 15 minutes away.
Gennaro's Trattoria, Startz Cafe, and Bare Bull BBQ are highly rated restaurants of the lake and are only minutes from the house. Lowe's Market is only 5 minutes away for all your grocery needs. Schlitterbahn Waterpark at New Braunfels, Gruene, Natural Bridge Caverns, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, and Guadalupe/Comal River tubing are just between 20 and 30 minutes away. The San Marcos Premium Outlets are a 40-minute drive. Wimberly is only 35 minutes away, San Antonio at 50 minutes, and Austin at 1 hour 10 minutes.

Great short stay at a perfect spot!

We really enjoyed our short stay, it was the perfect location and a great house near Canyon Lake. The host has done a spectacular job of having all the right things at the right spot, making everything very stylish and livable. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our family dog, and everyone loved the hot tub! We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time! The house is very cute as well as the backyard. The only negative thing we would say is that a lot of the supplies were low or completely out. We messaged the host which did have them delivered however not very communicative in responding back. The hottub and grill were also not clean but the maintenance person came right away to take care of that. Overall we would give in between a 3 and 4 star rating.

Long weekend at Canyon Lake. Perfect house for family HQ.

We had six adults in for a long family weekend. The house is brand new and dead a great fit for our family as a central location for lots of activities in the area. House was well stocked with needed supplies and did not feel like a rental. We enjoyed it a lot (especially the backyard in the evenings).

Clean, cute & convenient!

This place was exactly as advertised! I wanted a peaceful place to stay with a few of my family members and two of our dogs. It’s located on a quiet, wooded street “up the hill” a bit so it feels very secluded. But it’s actually just a 2-minute drive down the hill to everything - groceries, restaurants, gas stations, shops, etc. There was plenty of room for us with three bedrooms and two couches (one being a pullout). The backyard was big and fenced in with a very tall privacy fence - a plus for us because we wanted our dogs to be safe and have room to romp. The house was obviously newly built and freshly decorated - very cute design accents throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking purposes. We never got around to using the grill or the hot tub but both were immaculate and the hot tub looked clean and inviting. The back patio and yard is great at night and perfect for having a fire in the fire pit. OR, since we were under a burn ban during our stay, we just enjoyed sitting in the giant Adirondack chairs under the string lights surrounded by auto-lit torches. Upon arrival we found a very handy binder the owner put together that included all the information needed for our stay: - Instructions on checking in/out - How to use & where to find things in house - Local places to eat, shop, etc - Emergency info Sunil (the owner) didn’t miss a single detail in this place! Even when I had a few questions, it was easy to contact Sunil and I got a response/answer right away. If I’m back in the area, I would absolutely stay here again! THANK YOU!!

Home from home!

Immaculate new house in convenient location to all that hill country has to offer. The owners really did think about everything you could need to make the stay more enjoyable from toiletries to family board games. Very well stocked kitchen & utility. The attention to detail was just great. The house is decorated very well with comfortable & welcoming furniture which is what you want after a full day in the outdoors. Great enclosed back yard with fire pit, bbq and hot tub. Will definitely return.

We had a great family trip in your beautiful home. Spring break is the perfect time to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. Beds were comfortable. Our dog loved playing ball in the fenced backyard.

Weekend getaway

Great house for our weekend getaway. We booked this house and were so pleased with the “family feel” and cleanliness of the home. We felt right at home here and would definitely stay again. The owners attention to detail was definitely felt throughout the home. (I.e.- games in the living room, soft blankets in each room for cozying up, coffee and creamer in the kitchen, towelettes, q-tips. shampoo & body wash in the bathrooms, chairs by the fireside). We all felt right at home! We played games, drove to the lake, shopped, watched movies, sat outside by the fire, and gathered in the living room and kitchen areas together. . Would definitely recommend this home.
