Upon arrival, we had an issue with the refrigerator, but Mike had it resolved quickly...appreciated his quick response to any of our requests. The property met all of our needs. It was close to restaurants and a Walmart for necessities was located just a few miles from the house. It was clean and comfortable and very close to Rend Lake. There were five beds and enough room for everyone to sit comfortably in the living room. The kitchen provided what we needed. We will definitely stay her again.

Animal Sanctuary

We really enjoyed the property. It backed up to the woods. Visited by several family of deer, hawks and various species of birds. Peaceful sitting on the patio drinking coffee and unwinding. Near the lake and not far to wineries, restaurants and other sites. Don’t hesitate to book here. Great value.

Great place close to a boat ramp

Liked that the house was so close to the lake. It is a bit outdated, but had everything we needed. The privacy was great and the back yard, with deer, reminded us of hime.It was a challenge to turn around in the driveway with a boat in tow, but we managed by backing in from the main road, I didn't want to drive in the grass.Would stay here again.

Wedding Weekend

My daughter’s wedding and reception venue were at the spillway recreation area and this house was only a half mile away. It worked out perfectly and the house was just the space we needed to get ready and be close by. Everything was as it is listed. Very happy with this rental and recommend to anyone that needs to stay close in that area.

Family gathering

We had a funeral in Sesser Illinois and it was only 10 minutes away from where our family is. There was 4 families that came and stayed with us. The kitchen is very spacious, the bathroom showers are amazing!! There is a table and chairs outside that we sat at and enjoyed a fire in the firepit enjoying the spacious yard that we watched quite a few deer roam through! Mike is a very nice host and was very helpful with anything we needed! Thanks again Mike for a place to enjoy some family time even if it was for a funeral was nice sitting around the campfire reminiscing !
