About this property

Ground level of beautiful mountain home with views of Pikes Peak!

**Ground level 1,875 Sq. Ft. House**

Beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom with amazing views of Pikes Peak, rock formations, and forest. This level has a private entrance and patio to enjoy the surroundings. Also includes access to our enclosed trampoline.

Kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven big enough to hold a 9x13 pan, and a double electric cook top. Much better than getting a couple of hotel rooms!!

Wood burning fireplace and radiant floor heat will keep you warm on those chilly Colorado days. We do not have AC, but opening windows to create a cross breeze will cool things off perfectly during warm weather!

This property is the ground level attached to our main house, however there are no shared living spaces, just a shared driveway. We live in the upper level of the house with 3 of our 6 children and our outside cat Hazel during the school year, September-May. Our whole house is rented as a vrbo during the summer and this level is only available when the whole house isn’t rented.

**We do not allow pets or events at this property**

We live on a windy dirt road on the side of a hill so 4 wheel drive or AWD is an absolute must during our snowy season. All other vehicles should work fine during the summer, however some of our guests have said they feel more comfortable with an AWD vehicle.

Beautiful secluded home in the mountains

My boyfriend and I wanted a secluded stay in the mountains with a view and this was it ! The lower level was more than enough for us with a wonderful view of the mountains !

Beautiful retreat in the woods

We had a wonderful stay here. It is very secluded in the mountains and the view is stunning. Our host was very nice and always responsive. We only had access to the ground floor of the home, which was very spacious and comfortable for my family of 6. The rooms are very large and you can fit a large group if needed. Just a couple of things to note: first (and this is totally my fault for not checking beforehand), there is no stove, oven or washer / dryer. Secondly, the owners do occupy the upper level during the school months and while you will probably not encounter them during your stay, you can hear footsteps and noise coming from above. But it wasn’t too loud where it woke my kids up, so it was all good for us. They do rent out the entire home during the summer, which would be great to have for a large group stay. We would definitely come back!

Currently our 3 oldest children live close by in Colorado Springs and our 3 youngest are still living at home. We love living in the mountains and would be honored to share our home with you! We will be very respectful of your privacy, but are close by should any needs arise.

This is a perfect setting for a family/couples getaway! The views are absolutely breathtaking and the area offers so many activities during the summer and winter.
