Your Home Away From Home In Beautiful Mexico Beach!!!

The FlipFlop is a 2 story town home located in the Palms of Mexico Beach. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a large open living space and is located in a quiet community with a shared pool. The home is 1,320 square feet and sleeps up to 6 people. "FlipFlop" is just 1/2 mile from the beautiful white-sand beaches of Mexico Beach. There is parking for 2 vehicles but no overflow parking. There is a grass area where you can park an extra vehicle or boat/trailer just a few steps from the door. We have two exterior security cameras. One is located on the front porch and monitors the porch and parking area. The other camera is located on the backside of the home and monitors the backyard space. These are for our protection as well as our guests.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
1.Turn off all lights, fans, TVs. 2.Leave the beds unmade. Put dirty towels in the bathtub/shower. 3 Remove trash. Place in dumpster
4.Remove all food items from the refrigerator. 5.If you used the grill please make sure gas is off and grill is clean and covered. 6 Sign out of your personal streaming accounts (Netflix, Prime, etc)
7.Set thermostat to cool/78 degrees in the summer, heat/68 degrees in the winter. During the summer, please shut the blinds on the front of the house, upstairs and downstairs.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No fireworks or firearms allowed on property. Do not move or rearrange the furniture. Community quiet hours are 10pm - 7am. No pets allowed.
The person booking the reservation must be staying in the unit for the entire stay. We can not accept 3rd party bookings.
No smoking, vaping or incense burning allowed inside of the townhome. If smoking has occurred in the unit you will be charged an additional $350.

The house had beds/bedrooms suitable for our family. However, I would not stay again. The house was extremely hot when we checked in. Upstairs was unbearable to stay until air had been running no less than 3 1/2 hours, in which it had just reached 75 degrees. It would be considerate to your guests to turn the air on before checking in. The refrigerator leaks and leaves a puddle on the floor adjacent to the cabinets. I left laundry detergent and dryer sheets since there was only a small amount of washing powder and no dryer sheets available.

First time in Mexico Beach

We absolutely loved our stay at Flip Flop. The house was very roomy and well stocked, in a very nice location. The drive to the beach was about 3 mins, but so easy. Just pick a boardwalk and park and go straight down to the sand. It was actually easier to drive over rather than to walk like we usually do. Dennis was super nice and helpful with any information I needed on the home or anything in the area. The location of the home was also very accessible to stores or to Port St. Joe. Best of all, the Master was on the main! We really enjoyed our stay!

This beach townhouse was so inviting and so comfortable. The home is decorated nicely and it suited our needs in every way. Great location with good access to the beaches and local restaurants. We'll be back for sure.

Beautiful!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Flipflop! The property was very clean, decorated so beachy and cute, Dennis supplied all the appliances we could need/want and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was cleaned daily, not crowed, nice lounge chairs. Communication with the owners was easy, quick, and pleasant. The only downside would be no back yard, no outside area or seating for gatherings, and a golf cart would be great to rent as it wasn’t really walking distance to the beach.

Why they chose this property

We discovered Mexico Beach many years ago and found it to be the perfect family beach location. No tall high rise towers, no huge crowds, and miles of great white sand beach in a quiet little beach town. We finally decided to purchase our own home in this little peace of heaven, now we can enjoy all the area has to offer and not worry about having a place to stay. And since we can't be there all the time, you can enjoy it too!
