Meyer's Nook: Your Homey Spot in Bloomington

Only a 10 to 15 minute drive from IU campus or IU Stadium, our place is a recently remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, half of a duplex (right side). Located in a country neighborhood setting, this home is minutes away from the mall, restaurants, and downtown. It is also close to Lake Monroe, Lake Lemon, Griffy Lake and Brown County for those nature lovers.

Come stay at this rural nook for work, an outdoor adventure, an IU game or to visit IU.

With a comfortable great room, you can lounge on the couch or sit and the counter-height breakfast bar and visit with anyone in the kitchen. This is not a big home, but is laid out well and will easily sleep as many as 7.

The master bedroom contains a queen size bedroom suite. The 2nd bedroom has a set of twin size bunk-beds and an individual twin size bed. The couch in the living area has a trundle/pull-out turning it into a queen size bed.

The kitchen has recently been fully remodeled and has stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. It is fully functional with blender, drip & k-cup coffee maker, pans, skillets, baking sheets, and cooking utensils. There are also dishes, glasses, and silverware available to use during your stay.

Cook a meal in the kitchen, watch the Fire TV (subscriptions not provided), or use the washer and dryer to do your laundry.

You will have access to the entire house and the shared back yard. There is space to park 2 cars in the driveway

Hosts are available by the app, cellphone, and text.

Our place has an 'in the country' feel but is quick access to town. There are neighbors across the street and on either side

Guests will need their own vehicle to get into town.

To help accommodate those with allergies, my house is a smoke/vape free environment.
