Clean condo, beds a little soft, and kitchen was small. There was noise from upstairs especially at night, was listed in description. Owners good at communicating.
Great space and excellent location to parks, grocery store and dinning. The pool/spas were very nice, a little busy at times but it was spring break. We used the community grill which is by the pool so not too far away and clean. As someone else referenced, you will hear the neighbors above and early. Dont expect to sleep in but you are in Sedona and if you want to get a parking spot at any park, you need to get up early and beat the traffic and heat. As with any VRBO that has a washer and dryer, which is wonderful to not have to over pack, this washer is a bit loud so I’d run it during the morning/day time. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and Joe and Jodi are great hosts. Another plus was the Red Rock park pass they provide!! Just know you can’t use it all parks so check before you go! Loved Sedona and can’t wait to come back. If you are planning a jeep tour Arizona Safari is locally owned and excellent. Highly recommend Doc. He’s very knowledgeable and an awesome driver too.
Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The condo was good space for everyone to have some space, and also plenty of seating to watch some TV at night. We especially loved going to the hot tub in the evenings! Location was also super convenient for picking up basic groceries right across the street, and several restaurants there too. The drive into Sedona was 15 minutes, beautiful snd very easy to go back and forth for hiking and sightseeing, shopping, and eating.
This place accommodates my 7 person family perfectly! Plenty of space for activities together and time apart. Kitchen was well stocked. Great location. Host were very easy to work with.
Great location with grocery store across the street from complex. Swimming pool hot tub and tennis /pickle ball onsite. It was just a few miles south of Sedona so you missed all the traffic.
Great place...plenty of seating after long hiking days. Hot tub close by. Location, location, location!! Loved it! Great back porch.
Grocery across the street.
Enjoyed meals at Javelinas cantina and Mole.
We will be back!
The location and condo complex was great! Unfortunately being on the bottom floor was very loud and we had very noisy people above us which was frustrating.
This was our second time staying in Jodi and Joe’s Oak Creek condo. Again, everything was great! The condo is spacious and well equipped. The grounds are beautiful with a jacuzzi, heated pool and tennis/pickle ball courts very close by. We hiked at Bell Rock which is only a few minutes away. All in all, a very enjoyable week. We will be back! Thanks!!
The condo was nice and as described. Downside was that the pool and one hot tub were under repair. However, the second hot tub was available and excellent. Tennis courts were fun and the kids loved that they could use the rackets and tennis balls provided. Great location close to restaurants and a market for groceries. Hosts were easy to communicate with.
This property was clean with comfortable beds. Plenty of linens, blankets and towels, including pool towels, hare included. Our grandsons enjoyed the included tennis rackets and balls, playing every evening. The included wifi is very fast
The location is convenient to the Village of Oak Creek, just a few minutes south of Sedona, with a nice supermarket across the street and several restaurants and an ice cream parlor within a few minutes walking. Great views of the red rock mountains and several hiking trails are within 5 minutes.
The condo itself is dated and needs upgrades (aka modernization) in several areas.
What I LOVED:
1. Fantastic communication with Landlord.
2. Cute older place in a fantastic location.
3. Equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom.
4. Very comfortable King beds.
Would suggest:
1. New King sheets that stay on the beds when sleeping.
2. Softer twin mattresses.
Unfortunately, left early and can't return due to:
1. Overall underlying smell of the place was from animal/smoke (couldn't tell which).
2. Couldn't sleep well due to the creeking of old pipes/boards and upstairs neighbors with normal living conditions.
This place was a great find. Literally you walk across the street to a full grocery store for whatever you need: lunch, grab and go, snacks, etc. There are food places nearby. It is only a few miles to Sedona, but the speed limit is 35. It's worth every daylight minute getting to town for the view. It was a great mid point for us to come up from Phoenix (less than 2 hours). We rented a van driver to go to the Grand Canyon (2 hours), saw blankets of snow, had a great time (we used Todd's Tours and I highly recommend them). The next day we drove to Page (almost 3 hours) and saw Antelope Canyon (with a guide) and Horseshoe Bend on our own. After checking out of the condo, we drove west to Jerome (45 min) and Montezuma Castle (20-30 min i think) and then back to Phoenix. The condo was clean, as pictured, well kept and had every thing we needed. The towels and linens were great and plentiful, as were the pillows. All the extra thoughtful touches were appreciated.
We stayed at this property for five weeks. The condo is spacious and well laid out. Master on one side of living area, two bedrooms on other side. Kitchen, living room, dining room all well equipped. Little patio for enjoying morning coffee. The condo facility has tennis/pickleball, pool and hot tub. Hot tub was awesome for after hikes. We also took advantage of the car wash hose to wash our hiking boots and dog after hikes! Very close, two minutes walk, to Clark’s grocery store which was super convenient. Perfect location in Village of Oak Creek which is quieter than Sedona. Twenty minute walk to trailheads at Bell Rock vista which was great for access on busy weekends when parking is a huge challenge. Friday thru Monday.
We hiked almost every day on many of the hundreds of hiking trails in the area. All were wonderful. We also visited Antelope Canyon near Page ( recommend Dixie’s Tour at Lower Antelope), Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Jerome, Montezumas Castle and Tutzigoot. And Phoenix, recommend Cave Creek park for cacti experience. All were wonderful and accessible without going through Sedona and its busy traffic.
Condo owners were very easy to communicate with and super quick to respond.
Loved how close it was to Sedona, spacious rooms and heated hot tub. The beds weren’t very comfortable and SUPER squeaky, the showers were hard to find the right temp on and one kitchen drawer was about to fall out whenever you opened it. There were lots of great extras though - pool towels, tvs in every room, kitchen was well stocked - we would recommend it overall.
