Property was neat and clean. Owner was on site and very accomodating. All toiletries were provided. The only improvement would be to add a TV in the living room as the only TV's are in the bedrooms. We used our Laptop to when we were not in the bedroom. The house is near several restaurants and the grocery store is only 4 miles away.
My daughters and I had a brief but wonderful stay at this meticulously restored cottage. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we appreciated how clean and quaint everything was!
Very well done restoration on a 1940s home. Comfortable and inviting with a great location. Host is pleasant, professional and answered all questions we had in a timely manner. Very clean, well stocked, and EV charging a real plus! A great stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was exactly as described in the listing—clean, well-maintained, and just as pictured. The owner was incredibly friendly, communicative, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. He also gave us some awesome local recommendations. They were also very flexible with our check-in/check-out times, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free getaway!
Charming with great original architectural features in a nicely updated home. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen and bath, comfy beds and great location. Highly recommend!

We appreciate the kind words. Thank you for staying!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our full Thanksgiving dinner, which was a huge plus. There isn’t much for younger kids to do on the property itself, but we were prepared for that and still enjoyed our time. One thing to note is that there is no TV in the living room. We had read this in other reviews, so we brought our own so we could watch movies together in the evenings. The beds are on the firmer side. I prefer a softer mattress, and my husband—who has had several back surgeries—didn’t sleep very well because of the firmness.Overall, the home was lovely and well cared for.
Son and I attended Spaceport Rocket Competiton at the convention center...two blocks away. Very convenient and very close to Univ of NM, shops and eateries. The bungalow was everything the description provides. Tall ceilings gives a sense of elbow room. Built in 1940, it does have its quirks - like uneven floors in places - but that adds to the charm. Son and I were very comfortable, and communication with owner was above expectations.
LOVED the property, very charming, clean, no problems except the main bedroom didn't get the heat like the other rooms so our friends were cold, and so close to the university, they could hear noise and had their sleep disturbed. Other bedroom (with Murphy bed) was very comfortable! Owner was quick to turn up the heat when texted, though it still didn't seem to flow into that room quite as well.
I fell in love with this cute place when I saw it online and it looked exactly like the pictures. It was charming and well cared for. Our host, Mark, was so proud of it. The house was drafty but that goes with being so old. Mark said “ just turn up the heat” and we were fine. The location was close to everything we wanted to see or do. I felt no safety issues. There was one thing I thought was a little weird, our host lived in an RV behind the house. But he was such a great host and so easy to talk to, he never intruded on our visit and had his own things to do, so it was almost like he wasn’t there. Besides, it was kind of reassuring to have him close in case something went wrong. I had a friend fly down to check out Las Cruces and Mark told us to have her stay in the 2nd bedroom. So nice. Can you tell I was impressed?
The home was so spotlessly clean and beautifully staged. Mark had a welcome vase of fresh flowers in the kitchen for us. The home itself is truly historic and spacious. The bed and linens were very comfortable; we enjoyed having a large dining table for our two person Thanksgiving meal. Kitchen was very well stocked know that the TVs are located in the bedrooms and not in the living room. There is no access to the washing machine - we did not need it but it was listed. And the dishwasher was labeled as broken. So we washed by hand. Not a big deal but another thing to be aware of for the next guests. If I had anything to add it would be directions on how to use the thermostats for the air and heat and dimmer switches on all the overhead lights.
This is a beautiful house, and a great place to stay. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen and a nice updated bathroom. Lots of space, including a separate dining room, living room and a second bedroom, and outdoor space. We were traveling with our small dog, so staying here was much more relaxing than staying in a hotel.
