The jasmine was in bloom just outside the door, Jones street wakes up slowly every morning and the fabulous restaurants were just a short stroll away. We love this city with its history, charm and hospitality. You just couldn’t get a better stay than here. It’s our second time here on Jones and we would happily come back again.
Wonderful one bedroom in the historic district of Savannah. Very clean and nicely organized for visitors. Easy to walk to the sights of Savannah, Restaurants and to enjoy the charming old city. Perfect for a couple.
Very nice place behind the main house. Clean and easy access to everything. The only thing is the workers at Mrs Wilkes diner coming in. They are loud in the mornings.
The Carriage house was spotless & came with a nice welcome bottle of wine. A great location on a beautiful quiet street within short walk or drive of everything the city has to offer. Having a small garage space made things much easier. Our car was accessible & no worries about where to park. The carriage house space was perfect for a couple. Bathroom vanity space was limited but everything else was very convenient & comfortable for our stay!Thank you for a great experience!
Park the car and walk the fabulous streets of Savannah
It was a very nice place to stay. We could walk everywhere. The car was safe in its garage. The main room was lovely and open and airy all the facilities you need cooker dishwasher fridge freezer coffee maker and all kitchen appliances bath is fabulous so all in all a wonderful time was had by all.
The carriage house was perfect. Clean and comfortable. About a 15 minute walk to downtown —quiet and safe. Right next door to Mrs. Wilkes restaurant. Nice to have parking available. Matthew was responsive and a great host. Would recommend and would stay again.
Didn’t even need a car in Savannah! Perfect location on Jones ST. THe bedroom and bathroom vanity very small and the bedroom TV sound didn’t work and other issues with TVs. Luckily we didn’t use them much but when we did it was frustrating to find local news or stations to watch. It seemed only available were.subscriotion channels.
Location makes up for everything. Garage is nice as we had a car. Living area spacious.
We had a wonderful stay in Savannah in a cozy carriage house on beautiful Jones Street. The location was perfect. It was serene, quiet and allowed easy walking access to all locations in the historical district. Another bonus was the parking space in their private garage directly under the carriage house itself. I would highly recommend this property to couples visiting Savannah.
This property was clean, included all of the amenities that you might need, and came with bonus access to a laundry room, and a parking spot. Though the property is technically on Jones Street, being that it’s not the main house (it’s the guest house) it’s really kind of located behind Jones Street. I would personally stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a nice place to stay in Savannah.
Great Location! Cute space. Easy check-in. The vanity in the bathroom has minimal counter space. The parking space was convenient but was tight. Not a big deal because we were close to everything!
The carriage house is small but was fine for the two of us. We're from Savannah and know how difficult finding parking in that area is so having the parking space is truly a plus.
Apartment exceeded our expectations. Very clean and bright. Nice furnishings with spacious layout and well stocked kitchen. Dedicated parking space was a bonus. Great location in the historic district.
About twenty minute walk to the River. Several good restaurants within a a few minutes of the house. Fantastic neighborhood. The house was exactly as advertised. Were there for three days and the car never left the garage.
We had high hopes and expectations, but this really was excellent! Clean, well decorated, great furnishings, fun layout, great location in historic area, bottle of wine and coffee provided...and more. Fun carriage house over garage with access to courtyard. Great parking, good security provisions. Very, very nice!
Property was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy to get to, and entry in and out of the property was simple. I loved the location, I was able to walk everywhere, I always felt safe. If walking was a little much the free DOT Shuttle, with a nearby stop, went everywhere in the city I needed to go. Driving was easy if I needed to drive. Many restaurants within walking distance and a variety of cuisines. Many walking tour choices with a hunted house to tour only 2 blocks away. I did go golfing once, there were many courses nearby to choose from. Tybee Island was nearby to visit and a wonderful Nature Center to visit on the way or or go to another time. I would stay again.
This was an awesome property and location and the on-site parking is a HUGE bonus in Savannah. Neat, clean, bright and well appointed. We will come back again.
