Upside was very pet friendly. Nice grass and side yard. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and seating areas. Convenient location to Boat launch. Very quiet street. Downsides. Main bedroom TV had no cable or connection to any broadcast content. Oven was not safe to operate and a technician advised against using. House slept 6 comfortably but only 1 car is allowed on property. We had to use Property management parking in Downtown Big Bear for guests.

The first property was terrible. It should have never been rented.There was a leak under the kitchen sink that must have been there for a very long time.It was leaking on to the floor and I think under it. I heard the leak when I opened the door under the sink. If anyone cleaned there, which I doubt, they would have heard it.There were ants.TV did not work with the instructions given. Needed a new remote.The backyard sitting area was so bad that we needed to moved the furniture to the front porch.Front porch needed swept before we could sit there.Kitchen very disorganized Stove did not work, there had been a gas leak so they turned it off. They said they told us, but that was not true. That was the straw that broke the camel's back as they say.They finally moved us the the Treehouse property on August 5th for the rest of the stay.When something went wrong, there was someone there timely. The communication there was ok.The front office needs a lot of work on it. The communication was terrible. Too many assumptions and not enough care to do the job correctly.I don't believe anyone had stayed in the first property in a long while and no one checked it out before we arrived. Very disappointed.

Cozy forest stay

We love this neighborhood of big bear. It’s walkable to the zoo and dank donuts, not to mention the national forest! This cabin was everything we needed!

Family getaway

Cozy cabin with all we needed to relax and enjoy nature and lake and some much needed family time. Very nice and no problems with check in and out process. Communication with host was very prompt and easy.

Cozy

We enjoyed this cozy little cabin. Unfortunately we had to deal with ants on the counter tops, kitchen floor, and table. Having to run our trash to the local dump and bottoming out my car because of a massive pothole wasn't fun either but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice place, feels like home.

So nice, we took dogs, there was a water bowel for them. All the stuff for making breakfast and dinners, which helps cut down on dining out cost. Keurig coffee pot in kitchen makes coffee time easy, works great for hot chocolate too. Nice back yard for the dogs to play in. Upstairs is pretty cool for the kids after a long day outside. Video games and a good place to chill.

Very nice

Very clean. Interesting layout. Plenty of room The decor and the outside had great woodsy homey cabin feel. Very very happy. Bath sink is different but still as It says stepping back in time.

Do not bring pets

Very disappointed in how i received an email about how the carpet was black lighted and somehow I was responsible for 8+ spots on the floor when there was no actual before hand proof of the carpets being black lighted before I moved into the cabin. I’m paying for other people’s dogs I guess. I was also told that i had dog hair all over the cabin. There was never a specification of what type of dog you could not bring. I have a husky. Everyone knows they shed. I thought the 140 dollar cleaning fee I was charged would cover a vacuum. I’m guessing it just covers vacuuming for human hair only then. My over experience to the place was decent but not in the dog department. So please come with family but not with pets. They will try to rip you off and keep your deposit.

Cozy Cabin Near Ski Resorts

This property is full of charm and a relaxing cabin experience within a 20 min walk of Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Ski Resorts in a quiet neighborhood. The location is a 5 out of 5, and I enjoyed having a backyard for our small dogs. The board games and video games in particular offered a nice break from the slopes or hiking or walking around town. Would definitely book this location again.

Perfect location. Air conditioning, heather, wifi, excellent water pressure for a nice shower.
