Rocky Mountain Lakefront Home close to Denver

Ground floor two bedroom guest unit in the large log cabin home in a private setting on Georgetown Lake. Hiking trails await out the front door as well as fishing and sightseeing. The unit has a separate entrance from the owner-occupied upper floors and features a gourmet kitchen, dining area, living room with a smart TV, Georgetown lake facing patio with a grill. The master bedroom is spacious and includes a king bed, an office area and sitting area with a smart TV (two futon sofas) and walk-in closet. The master bath has a double vanity, toilet and no-step shower. Second bedroom is an interior room and has a California king bed, smart TV and it is adjacent to a full bath with a bathtub.
Guests have their laundry area with a washer and a dryer. Guest kitchen features a gas range, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with water filter, coffee makers, all essential to prepare food.
Relax on the front porch with your first cup of coffee or after a long day. Cook a meal on a propane BBQ grill on the porch enjoying the lake and mountains view.
Two parking spaces are available on the property for guest use. Ski, bike, fish, kayak, go to hot springs, zip line, etc. you are right in the middle of all activities Rockies offers. And you are 40 min from Denver.

We had a great trip staying at this property for a week. Everything about this cabin is perfect. The host is an excellent communicator, and we spoke through Messenger and via telephone before, during, and after our visit. The cabin is clean, organized, and has some basic necessities provided, which makes your stay so much easier. The views of the lake and the access to the trail are second to none. Having a locked gate also added a feeling of security for parking. There is no doubt that this is the premier property for Georgetown. I would stay in this cabin 100/100 times again.

Lovely Long Weekend!

We enjoyed this cabin so much. It was both a relaxing, serene vacation stay as well as rich with local amenities such as hiking, white water rafting, restaurants and close to Denver for a city vibe. The place was clean and outfitted with what we needed but the BEST part was the lake and the morning/evening views from the porch!

A perfect place to stay if spending time in Georgetown! Right on the lake. Love the front porch. The host, Katja, is so friendly and welcoming. For those with little ones, the cabin was equipped with a high chair, pack n' play, a booster seat, and some toys! We've stayed here twice and hope to again for many years to come!

The lakefront property is just a few steps from several trails. Start your hike or bike from the doorsteps. In the winter ski Loveland is 15 min away. You are close to all Georgetown restaurants but in a very private setting on a lake. Denver is 40 min away. Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Winter Park are 30-50 min away.
