We stayed here the first week of May. There was still snow on the trails near the house, so pack accordingly. The property was clean and all of the appliances worked. The neighboring brewery was the perfect place to stop after a day of adventures. We were about 40 minutes from the Coor brewery & red rocks and 30th minutes from Frisco & Breck! The Mountain Views and the lake were beautiful but I70 is right there. Overall, we loved the space and location!
The home was as advertised. Very comfortable, easy to access, easy to check in and check out. The kitchen was beautiful, well stocked and very functional. So many comforts included in addition. Thank you to the owners. This was a perfect place for two nights as we passed through the area and explored historic Georgetown. We would definitely stay again!
This property and the host are both amazing! I would caution people considering staying here that the bed in the master bedroom is probably the hardest we've ever slept on because of it being a memory foam mattress with little to no give. Also, keep in mind this is located on the first floor of two-story cabin and the fulltime residents are upstairs so it can be noisy at times. Other than that great location and very nice space.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. We planned to come up with another couple but it was only the two of us. The listing was a bit different than we expected as it said that we should park in front of the guesthouse. The guesthouse is actually a finished basement walkout in the main house. The owners live above the unit and quiet time was at 10pm. If we had come with friends, we most likely would’ve played cards and stayed up late. As it was, we were worried about even having the television turned up after 10pm. The term “guesthouse” for us has always suggested a separate, stand-alone unit. This was our expectation. That is literally the only bit of construction suggestion we would offer the owners. The place was lovely, quiet (couldn’t hear the highway at all), clean and just a couple minutes from town. We would visit again knowing the limitations of the space if traveling with other friends.
We loved staying here. Katya gave us a great experience and went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable. Beyond accommodating and thoughtful with all the amenities provided! Gorgeous location by the lake as well.
Our hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful! The property was beautiful and well located with easy access to restaurants, the lake, and hike and bike trails. We would highly recommend this property to others!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house/unit was lovely, and very clean and comfortable. There was a lot of space for our family of four. We loved the peaceful lakeside location, and some very cute chipmunks kept us company when we ate lunch outside. Perfect location close to town in a beautiful setting, and Katya was a great hostess.
Wonderful facility, property and location. Would have been perfect for a third couple ... another bedroom would fit the enormous floor plan.
We had no need to communicate with manager, so didn't.
Tnank You !

What a beautiful place and surroundings. Couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful and cozy home. Thoughtful details of provisions by host created a welcoming presence. Wonderful stay and hope to come again…and soon
We absolutely loved our stay in Georgetown. The location is convenient to Denver and the mountains. The cabin itself was very well appointed with high quality appliances and kitchenware. I recommend providing additional towels, but that's being nitpicky.
This property had the perfect location to activities and gorgeous scenery in just over 30 minutes in each direction! The city of Georgetown is wonderful with nice restaurants and great ice cream! The property itself had everything we needed to make us feel right at home! This well kept home had plenty of space to make everyone comfortable. We especially loved looking at and walking around Georgetown Lake! Such a treat! Katya, our gracious host, was very open and easy to communicate with. She gave us information on the city of Dillon just about a half hour to the west! It didn’t disappoint! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore everything from Red Rocks to Breckenridge.
The property was spacious and in great condition. And it’s right by the lake, so we could walk around it and enjoy the surroundings. Would definitely stay here again!
Just left after spending few days skiing Loveland with my son and nephew. Well appointed apartment, very comfortable. Great location on east side of tunnel to ski and hit the little local towns for beer and grub. Would stay again to ski some more.

Colorado was my home for the last 16 years. Both my husband and I have traveled the world and think small mountain towns in the Rockies are real treasure.
Why they chose this property
Relax on the front porch facing the lake with your first cup of coffee or BBQ after a day of hiking, biking, fishing or skiing. It is hard to belief you are only 40 min away from Denver. Inside you will find two comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, great kitchen with high-end appliances and open space living room with dining area.
What makes this property unique
The lakefront property is just a few steps from several trails. Start your hike or bike from the doorsteps. In the winter ski Loveland is 15 min away. You are close to all Georgetown restaurants but in a very private setting on a lake. Denver is 40 min away. Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Winter Park are 30-50 min away.
