Home away from home. Great location and easy commute to Loveland Ski area. The 2 bedroom unit is so comfortable, we really felt we were at our own home.
Well looked after place, fully stocked with nice little extras. Georgetown is very small but is a nice staging area for mountain hikes. The ten degree difference in temp from Denver was welcome!
Clean, quiet, and comfortable duplex. Great kitchen setup so you can prepare whichever meals you want, but there are a lot of good restaurants between Georgetown and Idaho Springs. Very enjoyable place to use as our home base for our day trips to Red Rocks as well as multiple hikes.
The home was as listed, clean and in a nice area. We had a problem with a door locking in the home and the neighbors and property management were extremely helpful and fixed the issue right away and were super friendly
The location of this duplex is great for getting to downtown Georgetown, where there are plenty of cute shops and restaurants. The kitchen is very well stocked to allow for cooking nearly anything. The check-in process was super easy, and the building was easy to find, even in the dark. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of access to towels, soap, etc.Based on other reviews, I expected this place to be cleaner than it was. Maybe it was an off-day for the cleaners, but the floor appeared to not have been swept, there were strands of hair in multiple places (shower/tub, in the bedsheets, etc.). Luckily, the broom and vacuum were accessible for our stay. To add constructive feedback, I would suggest that there be another mirror somewhere in the house, as the only one there now is in the right bathroom. With more than one person, it makes for a difficult time getting ready simultaneously.
Very nice! We were not able to park the Tacoma nose in without hanging out in the street a bit, but the neighbor was very kind and stopped by to say that parking sideways was fine. You are very kind to leave little amenities such as tooth picks, things we never remember to bring. My only suggestion is to add a second indoor floor mat during ski season, so guests can remove boots while others are entering. Maybe one more suggestion: board games. We brought our own, but others might like some too? We are a board game family. Our son and his wife requested board games for their wedding gifts. They let me win twice on this trip! I will probably book your place again. We live in Glenwood Springs. We vacation in our camper van in the summertime, but now you're a favorite for a winter weekend.
