Needle Rush Point Condominiums is a rustic Perdido Key resort that extends from beachfront to riverside, giving you options for your gulf coast getaway. You'll enjoy 2 pools, one Beachside and the other outdoor pool just across the street on the Bayside. Perdido Key is just across the Alabama-Florida state line and offers you a quieter, family friendly area of the Gulf Coast for your next Getaway! Just a short walk from the world famous Flora-Bama. Boat owners will find 2 Docks and On-Site Trailer Storage (boat slips available on a first come first serve basis). Area activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Parasailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, shopping, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of powder-white sand.

THE STAIRS!

I never went to a condo that had so many stairs and I travel a lot. My bad knees were crying just loading and unloading. It was terrible as I was by myself due to circumstances beyond my control. Beautiful place but beware of the THREE flights of stairs! Loved the condo and can’t say enough about how lovely it was. Just the stairs!

The stairs can definitely be a challenge, especially when traveling solo. The Needle Rush Point facility was super. The property is very classic, clean, well lit at night, and well maintained. The beach area at the property is large and felt ex private; extremely relaxing. It was very easy to rent chairs on the beach. The pool was perfect for us. Plenty of chairs and plenty of room to relax. Now, as for this specific condo unit, it is VERY tired and in major need of attention. The blinds in every room are broken and dusty. The slats on one of the twin beds in the guest room are broken. Our daughter climbed in for bed on the first night and the mattress fell to the floor. The towel holders in both bathrooms are rusted and broken but placed to make it seem that they're not. One in the master bathroom fell off of the wall and bruised my wife's foot on the first night. The oven in the kitchen is a microwave/oven. It ended up working fine, it just took a little longer to cook. The coffee machine was very nice. In summary, we had a great week because we're pretty easy going and the facility was very nice. If you're someone that is expecting nicer amenities inside the condo, this specific unit isn't the condo for you.

Property was nice - weather ruined our trip 😢

Unfortunately our once a year vacation didn’t turn out great due to beaches closed us to double red flags and winds were horrible. The unit was nice except the flights of stairs . The stairs were a lot! At night we noticed a lot of the biggest cockroaches I’ve ever seen in my life outside property - never inside ! Not sure if this is a Florida problem or if it’s because property is wood idk! Overall our unit inside was clean ,spacious,and beautiful view of the ocean (that we couldn’t be on due to closed beaches . We had a special needs kiddo who was heart broken due to not being able to be on beach so pretty much stuck inside while trip. Pool went to 1x,it was good and clean. Not sure if we will be back due to sad about our expensive trip being ruined by weather. Never been to this part of Florida before so little disappointment. All other guests were very nice But wanting if you have health issues or stairs bother you don’t be on the 3rd floor But ocean side is a must !

We’re truly sorry to hear that the weather didn’t cooperate during your stay—when you plan and look forward to a beach vacation all year, it's incredibly frustrating to run into double red flags and stormy conditions. We agree: rip currents are no joke, and the beach flag system is in place for everyone’s safety, especially little ones. Still, we like to say even a rainy day at the beach beats a good day just about anywhere else. We're hopeful the warm weather, gorgeous views, and pool time offered at least a bit of a silver lining. As for the "giants" you spotted outside—yes, welcome to Florida! Palmetto bugs are definitely part of the landscape here, especially near wooden structures and lush areas. Thankfully, you didn’t find any indoors, and we keep regular pest control visits scheduled to ensure it stays that way. If that one startled you… just be glad you didn’t meet one of our friendly neighborhood gators! All jokes aside, we appreciate your kind comments about the condo itself, and we’d love the chance to welcome you back—hopefully with sunny skies, calm seas, and plenty of beach days next time around.
