O Secret Garden ... ;-) Just outside Strasbourg

A warm and inviting haven in a verdant setting, we warmly welcome you to our peaceful retreat at the back of the garden (a secret spot 🤫). We live in the adjoining house and are therefore available at any time of day to advise you and assist you (as long as we are there, of course...). Located near Strasbourg, you can also enjoy walks in the surrounding area, along the canals, etc. OPTIONAL (€8/person): Breakfast and meals are available upon reservation. The accommodation. OPTIONAL (PAID): There is no washing machine or dryer. In the apartment, but subject to a small fee, your host can take care of washing, drying, and ironing your laundry. OPTIONAL (FREE OF CHARGE): We can set up a travel cot for a baby if needed. However, it will take up a significant amount of space. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING: It is possible to charge an electric vehicle in front of the garage, provided you have the adapter to plug into a standard (220V) outlet. (€7 for 8 hours of charging, from 10 PM to 6 AM. €2/additional hour) PGJyPg PGJyPg WIFI: There is no Wi-Fi (not accessible) but the area is covered by 5G. PGJyPg PGJyPg MUSIC: The mini hi-fi system and 2 speakers provide a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. 🎶😁🎷 You can connect your phone via Bluetooth to enjoy your music subscriptions, bring your CDs, or simply listen to the radio. ACCESSIBILITY / PUBLIC TRANSPORT

- Bus stop in front of the house, you are 15 minutes from Strasbourg city centre. You can combine different modes of transport for the same very affordable price: bus, tram, flex'hop (on-demand transport)...


As the village is located in the Strasbourg Eurometropolis, you can use all available means of transport to go wherever you want, for the price of a single ticket: €1.90 (see the CTS website or the "CTS" app for all fare options).

OPTIONAL: for an additional fee. Your host can pick you up or drop you off at the train station or airport (subject to availability 😉). OPTIONAL: Bicycle rental available (including electric bikes). Strasbourg city centre is a 35-minute bike ride away, via a beautiful cycle path along the canal. You can also explore Alsace through hundreds of kilometres of cycle paths in enchanting settings. The nearest cycle path is 500 metres away. PLACES TO DISCOVER: Your host can, of course, advise you on interesting visits and places to discover in Strasbourg and the surrounding area. Discover, in particular, besides the city centre and the European institutions, bike rides in the Alsatian countryside, along the canals, in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains, and through the vineyards… If you have a car, plan a relaxing day at the various and magnificent thermal spas in the region: - Strasbourg and the historic city centre, its Christmas Market… - The Zénith concert hall, shows, concerts: the chalet is 5 minutes away. - Caracalla Baths in Baden-Baden (47km, 1 hour drive). Search “caracalla + baden” online. - Europa-Park & Rulantica… amusement park (36km, 50-minute drive). Search "europapark" online. - Ribeauvillé, a typical village with thermal baths nearby. - Freiburg, a city of character at the foot of the Black Forest (in Germany), with thermal baths nearby. LUGGAGE STORAGE: You can safely store your luggage with us if you wish to freely enjoy your last day in the region.
