The apartment itself is lovely, and the location was great, but our stay was disappointing for a few reasons.The listing advertised a queen pull-out sofa and a twin sleeper chair, but there was no pull-out sofa when we arrived. The host kindly arranged for a neighbor to bring us an air mattress, which we appreciated, but it wasn’t what was advertised or nearly as comfortable.Cleanliness was also an issue. Our children’s feet became dirty from walking on the floors, the bathrooms were only surface clean with dirt around the shower and corners, the primary bedroom closet smelled strongly of urine, and both the sofa and carpets were heavily stained.When we brought these concerns to the host, we were offered a 60 refund (which we have never received), but our concerns about cleanliness were largely dismissed. Instead, the conversation shifted to mentioning they wouldn’t charge us extra because my children’s cousin stayed with us for two nights, even though the listing says the property sleeps seven.This property has a lot of potential because it’s in a nice location and is otherwise a good apartment. With a more accurate listing and better attention to cleanliness, it would be an easy place to recommend.

Location was great, but wasn’t super clean in some areas and some of the furniture was uncomfortable and worn down. For example I found a dried booger/ blood stain on the blanket on my bed, the trash can lid in my bathroom was broken off, weird stains on the couch, there was no hand soap in the kitchen so we ended up buying some ourselves, and my white socks were dark brown after walking around for a day. It’s just frustrating when you pay for a cleaning fee for it to not even be that clean. Still would choose this over a traditional hotel though for the location and convenience of a kitchen and washer.

Great place to stay in the SLC metro area

The 4th floor apartment was clean and very comfortable and there is a reserved parking spot. The balcony with views of the mountains to the east was a nice place to sot and have meals. There were lots of options for places to eat close by.

Check in was smooth, location great. Cons- Lots of dog hair. We arrived and had to vacuum the couch that had a lot of white/black dog hair. We tried to get some blankets out and they also were covered in hair. Our two little girls were playing on the rug and got covered in short white dog hair. Essentially, hair everywhere. I understand pet friendly might have some hair. But this was too much. We checked out early, cut our losses and sleep in a hotel.
A vacuum probably would have taken care of the hair…the one they had on site didn’t clean it up.
Surface level clean. But not sure when it got deep cleaned.
Used the blow up to let the girls have a clean “floor space” and even it got hair on it.

Lodging was perfect fit for our stay, which was two couples. We appreciated the comfortable and spacious bedrooms with king beds. All the living areas were clean and well stocked. We cooked each breakfast and two dinners, the bar area on other side of kitchen worked well for eating arrangement. We visited the nearby Aquarium and museum which was well organized. The restaurants in area provided many choices. Interaction with host was very positive.
