Flew in for a competition and this place was cheaper than any hotel I could book for the same time frame. The accommodations are comfortable and I greatly enjoyed the jacuzzi tub nightly to unwind from the daily tournaments and sight seeing. The kitchenette and dining area made this extended stay so much more enjoyable than a hotel, and was well appointed with essentials and even a few snacks, hot cocoa, coffee and sugar. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and the night scape views from the backyard are stunning. 10/10 would stay here again. Thank you for being wonderful hosts.
Very nice, clean and roomy in very nice neighborhood. Well stocked with kitchen utensils. Great views out over Salt Lake City. Especially convenient to Snowbird, Alta, Solitude and Brighton ski areas and SLC airport.
This was our first VRBO experience. It was so much nicer than a hotel. The view across the Salt Lake Valley is stunning. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood. The kitchen is not stocked for really cooking a meal. I cooked eggs for breakfast a couple of times. Be aware that if it is essential to have absolute quiet between 6:30 and 8:30, the family upstairs has small children.
We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The description is spot on; it is spacious and appointed well. Kitchen is stocked with cooking basics, bathroom is also stocked with plenty of soft, fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The washer/dryer was a godsend after skiing all day. There’s plenty of room to spread out or be together. The listing notes there are young children in the main house. We didn’t mind toddler noises, but if you aren’t a kid person, it might not be a good fit. Best to know that in advance. Super easy check-in/out process. Overall great experience and we would definitely use this property again!
We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room. Entrance is from the back yard requiring walk around right side of home. Public pickleball courts 5 min dive away, which we used and enjoyed. Many close restaurants and a grocery store. Would stay again.
This location was excellent! We had a family of 5 here with raving reviews from all of us. My husband loved the easy of entry and cleanliness. I love the decor, the treats on the beds, and the honesty of the host and cleaner. I LEFT MY WEDDING RING!!! They called me soon after check out before I left the area and I was able to pick it up. Thank you so much for getting it back to me.
My 9 year olds loved the bunk bed room. It was easy to hook up our switch and the board games available were a lot of fun.
The six year old loved the huge bathroom and the view! Sunset was beautiful!
So glad we chose to stay here!
Our family had a wonderful stay. This is a beautiful place. It was perfect for our family of 5. Great location! George was a great host. If we had comments it questions, he was positive and quick to respond. We arrived and everything was spotless and welcoming. There were folded towels and chocolate mints on the beds. The large tub with jets and giant shower were a huge plus. We called it the spa room. We definitely hope to stay here again in the future.
This was a lovely place to stay and very convenient for our needs. The view from the home was beautiful.
My main issue was about somewhat inadequate lighting along the side of the house while navigating to he back of the house where the entry was.
This property needs a little bit of upkeep. You have to navigate in the dark through the muddy grass to the back of the house to access it. The bathroom shower did not feel clean. We couldn’t find a thermostat to control the temperature. Sometimes it was freezing in there and sometimes it was hot. The beds are comfortable. The second night that we were there it was loud upstairs until about 11 pm. Check out was easy. Easy access to I15.
This fit our family so great. We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. Good access to the freeway. The place is clean and comfortable. We loved the view.
We originally were going to stay in Park City but opted for Draper because it was more centrally located to everything we wanted to do this trip. This was a great spot, we loved it. The only downsides for larger groups or longer stays would be there is only 2 bathroom and no laundry, but we knew that going into it and it worked out great for us. For a basement apartment we loved it because it didn't feel like a basement with windows everywhere because it's built on a hill the basement is a walk-out basement which was super nice. We also enjoyed the view of the city from being up on the hill. Would recommend this place and the host was great too.

The host family was excessively loud, which did not match the description given that they may be heard occasionally. I messaged the host & asked for a refund; he said he would minus that evening & the cleaning fee. Hindsight, we should have left the next morning; we left after 3 nights. We were only given 2 washcloths for 4 people for 5 nights & had to ask for additional. Two more were left outside; they were full of tiny bugs when we got back. I assumed there would be at least 6 since the listing says it accommodates 6. The host told me that this was an economy stay & he could put any amount in & I could go to the store to purchase more. In town for a wedding & needed the iron, which was nowhere to be found. Host brought down his iron & became confrontational. He said I don't know how VRBO worked. This was my 2nd VRBO stay, but not my 2nd time to vacation. I've stayed countless places & never had so many issues with amenities listed not being available. Paper towels were also not provided. I wasn't expecting items not listed, for example, there wasn't a measuring cup or spoons, so those items I purchased when I bought groceries. He said I have been his most difficult guest, but I wouldn't have had to contact him if his listing was accurate. I was only asking for items that he said he provided. Maybe he should have done a quick walk through before we arrived. Patio furniture & area filthy. Sprinklers run @ 9pm in the area to get to the back entry. Not a hospitable host.

About the host
Hosted by George
Hi, we’re the Garcia family—George, Haleigh, and our two little boys, ages 4 and 1. We are so excited to share our VRBO with you and have worked so hard to make it a nice place for you. We hope you love Utah as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
I always wanted a home with a view. This home has one of the most beautiful views in the valley.
On clear days you can see Salt lake city from the back yard and on not-so-clear days you can see the storms wash over the valley.
Every season has a new view and I love it.
