The Langley Loft: Modern Barn + Close to Downtown + Hot Tub + Cozy Island Vibes

The Langley Loft is a cedar barn with a modern apartment on top located just outside of the town of Langley. The location is ideal for walking to town in the summer and counting bunnies along the way. The house itself is located in a lush, green setting with plenty of privacy. The Langley Loft is a unique space. It’s a barn with a 1200 sqft finished apartment on top. The main living area is open concept with a spacious kitchen, large island, two cozy couches, a round dining table, and two semi-private enclosed sleeping areas (one queen bed and two twin beds enclosed with room-darkening curtains). There is also a spacious master bedroom (queen bed) at the other end of the house. In between the two living spaces is a 3/4 bathroom with a shower (no bathtub).

The Loft has a serene outdoor area. Under our covered carport there is a 6-person hot tub, a cozy pot-bellied stove with seating and a little dining area. We also have cornhole games for our guests to play!

We loved this property. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, watching deer, and the easy walk into town. The only caution I would give is that if you have issues with stairs, the staircase up to the unit is a big one.

Absolutely adored the design, layout, and thoughtful details throughout the loft. Very clean! It is exactly as pictured and the kitchen is very well-stocked for all your cooking/baking equipment needs. Beds in the bedroom and open loft area were all comfortable with supportive pillows. The loft overall stayed surprisingly warm and cozy overnight. Loved watching the bunnies and birds in the backyard each day. Great location down the road from the shops and restaurants in Langley. 10/10 recommend and can’t wait to come back again!

Great stay

We loved Langley and the loft was great for our family. We considered other areas to stay on the island like coupeville, and we were glad we stayed in Langley. It is by far the best town on the island with great restaurants (Langley Kitchen, Saltwater Fish House & Oyster Bar, and Whidbey Doughnuts). The loft is about 1 mile from the center of town, so about a 20 minute leisurely walk. It easily fit the 4 of us with another bed to spare. The jacuzzi was great and the decor was nice. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous!

We had an amazing 2 nights at this very cool barn. The yard is wonderful for enjoying nature and spotting wildlife. The property is set up to enjoy hot tub, games and s’mores around a cozy fire. Our teens enjoyed walks to Langley while counting deer along the way. Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The decor is perfection and we’ll definitely be back for another stay.

Stunning loft with every detail for a wonderful visit to Langley!

Our family of 5 fit comfortably in the loft with plenty of space to spread out. The space was gorgeous and clean with every detail to make our stay comfortable. The bedroom in the back was very private, looking out on the lawn. The beds in the main room were also private with heavy curtains to separate the space. We loved the kitchen, including all of the items we needed - and coffee! Everything was so easy, including help from Carly when we had a question. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Loved the Langley Loft

We had a wonderful time staying at The Langley Loft. Surrounded by the forest it felt like we were in a treehouse. Overall, the loft is very well appointed with upscale furnishings, linens, and decor and the owners were very clever in the way they used the great room space to accommodate the beds that our kids used. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking needs, but we are a family that LOVES to cook, so we found it a little lacking in pots and pans, cooking utensils and dishes for leftovers. But, we survived. We also fell in love with the Nespresso machine and looked forward to our Americanos each morning. Know that the owners are very truthful in their description of the shower - it is small and we appreciated knowing that going into our stay there. The spacious laundry room with full-size washer and dryer were appreciated. We loved being able to walk into Langley and enjoyed numerous visits from the local deer family each day. The owners were very communicative before and during our stay. Highly recommend staying at this property.

The communication and ease of logistics made our stay that much more enjoyable. The barn was SO cute and the perfect size for our mom's weekend away! The only flawed characteristic of the barn was that we felt a sway of the barn when the wind blew.

Very quaint and well appointed space

The loft was well appointed and had all of the necessities to feel comfortable. Location was excellent, being just a few minutes drive from the Langley. When we had some trouble entering the unit, the host was very prompt and helpful to respond. It would've been a perfect stay had the beds and sofa been of a better quality and the linen's in cleaner condition.
