Gite La Lavande offers a rural two-bedroom cottage on two floors within a recently refurbished period property. Access the property from your private secure parking along a path lined with lavender and hibiscus trees, crossing the private dining patio and courtyard with private garden to the side. The ground floor features a fully equipped dining kitchen leading through double glass doors onto private courtyard balcony. Open entrance to lounge area also with balcony access. Stairs to master bedroom with en-suite shower room and twin bedroom with adjacent full bathroom with tub and overhead shower unit.

We are Helene and Brian a retired couple who have travelled and lived around the world and come to a tranquil corner of South West France to operate Chez Louis Gites. We have many years of experience in holiday letting and hospitality and love the work/life balance of immersion in the French culture, ambiance and cuisine and meeting people who share our enjoyment of those same things.

Why they chose this property

The Gites are spacious and well furnished yet crafted out of a former barn and workshop complex. Although close to the main house they have a rear aspect to a private garden and patio and a shared pool which measures 11m x 5m. The gites have a private entrance driveway which leads to ample private parking surrounded by fruit trees and spacious gardens. Whether you are touring the Bastides of Lot and Garonne, taking a river cruise, or reading a book by the pool while the children enjoy the water, this location is perfect for your holiday.

What makes this property unique

While being located close to the town centre and shopping with 4 major supermarkets close by, the gites have a wonderful rural aspect and a sense of tranquil isolation. The river Lot is 2km away and towns both along the river and to the north at Bonaguil, Villareal and Monflanquin are a very short distance from us.
