We had a nice stay in this cozy older home near downtown Grand Junction. The home was very clean and well stocked. Owner was prompt to respond to questions.

This was a great pick. This house has everything you need. Includes towels, coffee, tea, all cooking utensils and appliances. Water gets hot very quickly and stays hot . Plenty of living space to hang out and visit, including the back patio.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! The patio is a lovely place to hang out in the shade. :) Please come for the Country Jam and stay at our house next year!
Overall we had an ok stay, I’d not stay here again. The beds in the second and third bedroom were terribly uncomfortable. The house had a strong musty smell. The location was not the best- next to an industrial area. While it’s out of the owner’s control and it could happen anywhere, one night there was a police chase on foot in the alley behind the house. It was a bit unsettling for us. The positives: house was clean and the owner seemed nice.
The location is great and an easy walk to downtown and the public pool. The hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. The house was nicely updated.
From the moment we walked in, to the time we left, we felt comfortable and at home!!! The place was immaculate and the decor was beautiful.....I especially loved the little porch with the comfy reading chair!!! The selling point for us was the two bathrooms, which many places did not offer. The home was spacious, well kept and we would highly recommend it !!!
Me, my wife, and our 5 other friends loved this property! It was just what we wanted for our weekend stay! Only a small walk from downtown with some great restaurants! The neighbors were super friendly and very welcoming!
If you want to watch movies, make sure you have a laptop/any device with an HDMI plug in for the tv!
Overall, great spot, would definitely recommend!!

About the host

My husband and I love the Grand Junction area. He is an avid cyclist and we have lots of friends in the area that would be happy to show you the trails if you'd like. I love the coffee shops, hiking and paddle boarding in the new paddle boarding park or on the Colorado River. The house was a work of joy for me to put together! We are happy to help- please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Why they chose this property
This house is brand new inside! It is a short walk to downtown for entertainment and close to the Hospital and VA for working guests. Entrom Chocolates makes ice cream daily and is just a few blocks from the house. The three bedrooms gives you privacy with a large common area and a quiet porch.
What makes this property unique
The covered garage, ample gated parking large enough for several trucks/cars or a trailer and a shed. The air conditioning is a plus in the summer and the house is cozy warm in the winter. The property has a brand new walk-in shower in the master bath.
