Wonderful Stay!!

My family has been staying in this house for years and love it. They have made lots of updates over the years which we love. It’s huge and right on the water with wonderful screened in porch and beautiful views of the water. Hope we can continue to stay here for years to come.

Excellent place

Overall it was a great fit for our crew of young kids, space was perfect. Lagoon was great and short walk to the beach. Could use a few updates and maybe a grill for outside, but we were very happy with it stay and would come again.

Decent location, further from the beach than expected. Fairly clean, but had a fowl odor. Lots of little things in need of repair. Not worth 600 a night.

Great week on the bay

The house was nice. Beds were very comfortable. Great location. Store, restaurant and beach all within walking distance. Yard was rough. Sand spurs in the grass. Enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming in the bay. The kitchen needs some new saute/fry pans an more silverware. Would be nice to have a grill to cook outside. Overall great week for us.

Was given wrong code to door, place was not clean, frig and ice maker broken upon arrival, air quit working second day there. Below is pictures of carpets and feet and knees from kids walking crawling on floors 10 mins into arrival

Lovely place close to beach access

A perfect spot for a 10-person family gathering. Lots of open shared space and four private bathrooms. Plus a great quiet location on the lagoon.

Family getaway

Our family was very comfortable for our week long stay. The dock in the back was where we spent most of our time. It was just like the pictures. We saw the most amazing sunsets!!

Great time on the lagoon, bring your salt and pepper!

The pier and bench seats there made a memorable time watching the pelicans dive for fish and the herons land nearby. The lagoon front was great for launching kayaks. The house was super roomy for our 9 person party.

Spacious rooms, 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, large screened in porch, well-equipped kitchen and bar, parking either covered or not, deck out to the lagoon, close by access to the beach; what more could you ask for?

Really enjoyed this property. Screened porch could use some minor repairs as the screens are coming loose and some of the stickers in the yard need to be removed. Otherwise, Loved this property

Great Location

The location to the beach was great. One public access within walking distance and one a 1 minute drive (turn left out the driveway for the closest one). The house had plenty of room and everyone had a great time! The staff has been great, trying to find owners for things left behind and even picking up Amazon packages for the previous guests!! Great customer service and wonderful house. The kids loved the pier!!

Overall it was a great stay. We would have liked a blanket included on the beds. Some of the furniture is in poor condition. One dining room bench was not usable. Loved the location and easy walk to the beach. Enjoyed every day!!

When we first arrived we walked around the property. The location was perfect it was a 5 min walk to the beach and the street is very quiet with minimal traffic. There was plenty of parking, 3 vehicles, a trailer and motorcycle. The dock was nice and area around it was clean. There were a lot of left over items lying around the back from previous visitors, most broken and could have been thrown away. Most of the out door patio furniture was broken. On the second floor balcony I sat down in the plastic chair, it was cracked in the center and fell out of it. It is an older property which I knew going in. There was a large stain on the stairs carpet and one of the chairs inside the family room. Most of the house had new floor tile put it and was nice. The wiring needs addressed because some switches don’t work along with a couple outlets. One switch controlled the light in both upstairs rooms. The fan up stairs was barely hanging on and the fan in a bedroom downstairs wasn’t mounted correctly and was very loud. The company was very responsive and had someone out the next day to look at it. And 2 days later they replaced with 2 new fans and they were installed properly. They did fix the refrigerator. Over all my family and had a great trip. The property needs work but the company was responsive and addressed the major issues right away. Some more updating and it be a great place to stay with the location and size of the home.

Overall not bad

I was pleasantly surprised with this house. Given previous reviews, I was iffy on what to expect. The house was bigger than I expected and the view of the lagoon was great. The house does need some work overall - broken dining room chair, mattresses could be better, rooms were warmer than common areas, ceiling fan a little squeaky, and the cabinets and countertops could be updated. However, none of that was a huge deal and we enjoyed our stay! We came out of town to get married on the beach and I really wish Vacasa would’ve allowed us to have a lunch reception for about 25 people. We instead rented another house to have that.

Family spring break

The layout of the house was great however it needed updates! Appliances were fine but outside patio Furniture was dirty and outdated. The yard was not maintained. Vacasa was great at booking us a new place to stay after our original house was taken off the market however we had a light completely go out in one of the bathrooms and it never got fixed after we tried to get it serviced. The house was in a beautiful location and overall a place to gather however it could use updates and cleaning!

NASTY

This home needs a serious deep cleaning. The carpet needs to be replaced all together. The floors never been mopped. If you like a clean place this is not the one for you. Make sure you pack shoes to walk around the house in. The grass is all grown up outside. You will need to pack some boots if you plan to walk to the dock. The dishwasher does not work. There was a toothbrush behind the mirror just hanging. The tub was so stopped up it was filling up with water when we would shower. I cleaned it out and sent a picture of the nasty ball of hair and the response I got was "Glad its fixed now" The lock on the back sliding doors was broke. The walls and ceiling fans are nasty. I sent multiple pictures off the things I was not ok with. The best they could do was say sorry and refund $116. I asked to speak with the home owner and of course they say thats not allowed. Im sure this home owner is not aware of the conditions of this home being rented out. I do not recommend this home unless you like nasty filth.

Not Too Bad

This house is beautiful. The view is beautiful! The back porch, deck, and pier is wonderful! The location is great! But after about an hour of being there, we had no hot water (except in the hall bathroom) and no air upstairs. It wasn’t very hot so we tried sleeping with the fans on. It worked on the first night but the second, it was awful!! We called and reported it and was told they’d send someone. But nobody showed up until we were pulling out the driveway after we checked out. The pull out couch in the loft had fresh red stains on it but there was a big note on it saying don’t remove the stained bed clothes, just cover it with a mattress cover. May need to consider putting a king sized mattress on the king sized bed instead of two smaller mattresses. Other than that, we made the best of it and had an awesome time. If those things are fixed, I think we will be renting here again!
