Enjoy year-round fun at Indian Lake in our renovated 1938 cottage with fresh vintage decor, an open floor plan, and a large deck with open water views. Everything is provided just bring your personal items and relax! This 2 bedroom 1 bath with a pull-out queen sofa and 2 open living areas offer plenty of fall and winter activities for the family such as fishing, sking and tubing at Mad River Mountian, horse back riding at Marmaon Valley Farms, hiking, kayaking, disc golfing, and trout fishing in the Great Miami River. Many local restaurnts with live weekend entertainment. Located across the street from Old Field Beach and the walking/bike path. 4 Bikes and 2 kyaks are provided along with a fire pit. Also nearby, you can enjoy spending a day in Bellefontaine and pursue local boutiques, and eat at unique restaurants.

Wonderful stay at the vintage cottage

Our stay was wonderful at the vintage cottage. The outside with the view of the lake was so peaceful to sit out and enjoy the view and read a book with coffee. The landscape is beautiful as its own little oasis. The kitchen was well stocked and we had every thing we needed. The interior was spacious, with a perfect lake vibe. I loved all the vintage nods to the area. There were lots of helpful books and suggestions for what to do in the area. This was a great stay for our family as our first time at Indian lake. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Indian Lake Cottage!

This renovated, adorable Indian Lake cottage is in a great central location! We stayed here to visit family at the RV park next door and very happy with everything. From communicating with the owner to having everything we needed in the house we had no issues. The owner even left us a gift basket! Highly recommend!

Birthday Surprise!

Surprised my wife with a stay and day on Indian Lake and she loved it. The location was perfect with easy access to the bike trail trail, restaurants, grocery and marina. The house was immaculate, very nicely decorated, updated and comfortable. Appreciated the bikes and kayaks that were available. Look forward to another stay at this residence and more time on the lake.

Wonderful girls trip spot

Girls trip with my mom and her best friends. We all absolutley loved the house and said we would stay again. Great location across from the lake and walking path/bike trail. Gorgeous view of the lake. Loved the bikes and kayaks available from the owner. The owner even had a cute little welcome gift with a pancake mix and syrup with some extras and we had that for a wonderful breakfast. The place is decorated SO cute. Wish it was my home.

Fun at the lake

Jill's cottage delivered everything as promised. All the expected amenities were provided - cozy decor - spacious living areas. The backyard was fantastic with a great view of the lake. The nearby beach was perfect for swimming and the kayaks were an added bonus. Loved the welcome basket - especially the ballpark popcorn salt! Would highly recommend this place for anyone.

I was born and raised at Indian Lake & have many fond memories as a child growing up in a small town/resort area. I spent 35 years in Columbus, attending college at The Ohio State University and later at the University of Dayton, where I earned my master's degree in counseling. While living in Columbus, we purchased a condo, and for fifteen years, this allowed us to spend time with our family and grandkids as they were growing up. I retired in 2014 from education, and my husband and I made Indian Lake our permanent residence.

Why they chose this property

After retirement, I decided to pursue a new position in Real Estate & quickly discovered a new passion of mine. Helping secure forever homes & dream vacation spots for our fellow Indian Lake residents.
As soon as I came across this property, I saw its potential to become the perfect "home away from home" for the out-of-towners stopping through my beloved hometown.
