Great property with wonderful views in a rural setting

We had a very relaxing time at the property - the outside space and pool created a perfect space to spend time together (we were a group of 9) - enjoying BBQs on the terrace. The view from the pool was particularly impressive. It is a beautiful house with high quality furniture and facilities and lots of space. The air conditioning in two of the bedrooms was very welcome. (It could get quite warm at night in the other rooms even with fans). Christine - who managed the property - was very helpful. Nearby Sanary-sur-mer is also a super little seaside town to visit, shop and eat lunch/dinner. We all had a great time.

Excellent property - difficult access

Everyone in our group of 8, all over 50 were extremely happy with the Villa, pool and wonderful views. All couples had their own bathrooms, which is a basic requirement for our group. The only drawback is the access roads which are very narrow, steep in places and rough. Pay attention to the owner’s directions / instructions as navigation aids are inaccurate. Also recommend, best have small cars preferably with 4 wheel drive & no sports cars! Don’t let the drive put you off as the Villa is well worth the challenge. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Well appointed villa with lovely views.

We were met by a charming and very helpful agent Christine who speaks good English.The villa is tastefully decorated and each bedroom has an en suite shower room. There is a small but well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans etc. for our party of 10 people. There are several areas for enjoying meals al fresco in the sun or the shade and all have very comfortable and luxurious furniture. The main terrace has views of the sea, a huge table, settees and armchairs.The infinity pool is well maintained and again has a lovely seating area. The road to the villa is steep and a bit daunting at first but you do at used to it and it is certainly worth the climb to get to the villa.

Exceeded Expectations

This Villa is a truly unique spot in the south of France. It provided the perfect environment for our family to reconnect and spend quality time together. If you are looking for spot in the middle of the action this is not for you but if you want a spot comfortably and tastefully furnished this is the place. The kitchen had everything any cook could want. There is enough spots to find moments alone while still offering great spaces to be all together. The pool is very special and the cost of turning on the heater is well worth it. The villa has AC but be prepared for it to be kind of weak and made for warm sleeping areas that you should consider. The view is spectacular from the deck. There is a great restaurant close by at the bottom of the hill. If the current chef is still there don’t miss him. He even gave us a French cooking lesson for a cost that was well worth it. The drive to the villa is a challenge. Big cars are not a great thing here and if you are use to driving an automatic trans car do not try a manual here. The beach is a drive down the mountain but is really a short drive but a drive for sure. Same with the market. Get your meals planned early and make a big supply run on the front end as this will allow you to enjoy the Villa rather than driving the road into town. There is ample refrigerator space for multiple meals. There was a great night market on the beach and a day market in the same spot for fresh fruits, vegetables, and fish. Christine is great host!

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison est parfaite. Les chambres sont très grandes, avec chacune sa salle de bain. La cuisine hyper est équipée de matériel super performant. La pièce à vivre est chaleureuse mais le top ceux sont les différents points extérieurs que nos occupions en suivant le soleil(terrasse du matin, point soleil de l'après midi) La vue depuis la maison est calme et apaisante. Le nec plus ultra c'est de s'asseoir au bord de la piscine et de contempler la vue. L'accueil de nos hôtes fut parfait tant dans les échanges avant la réservation que par la bonne humeur de Christine chargée de l'état des lieux Pas de doute nous reviendrons

Sanary in July

The villa, the setting, the pool, all are absolutely wonderful. We sampled the local beaches, shopping, the sea, the food, the wine - all terrific. The road to the house is difficult but totally worth the trip. Warning to future renters: bring bug spray.

Great vacation

The villa is absolutely amazing. The property is very well-kept and everything is spacious. Also the view is fantastic, we really did not expect this. Only negative point is the road to the villa which is very steep so you really need to watch out while driving up. But nonetheless we totally recommend it!

Maison et cadre très agréable

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances entre amis et nos familles respectives. Le séjour a été très agréable dans cette grande maison et son cadre idyllique. La grande piscine ainsi que son emplacement nous a permis à la fois de nous reposer et passer de bon moment avec les enfants. La maison et sa cuisine sont très bien équipé en revanche la qualité des ustensiles (poêles et casseroles, …) étaient vétustes et sales (plein de graisse).

Demeure et environnement de grande qualité

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les espaces extérieurs aménagés avec grand raffinement et le charme de la décoration intérieure. Disposer d’une salle d’eau et WC par chambre est un vrai confort. L’espace de vie commun est aussi très agréable (grande table pour les repas, salon lumineux et confortable). Nous avons tellement apprécié le lieu que nous n’avons presque pas bougé pour visiter les environs. Nous avons préféré profiter de la terrasse et de sa vue reposante. Dommage que la saison ne se prêtait pas à l’utilisation de la piscine qui est aussi un bel espace de détente.

Merci pour votre commentaire . Peu de villas proposent 6 chambres et 6 salles de bain privées avec une déco aussi soignée. Le prix est justifié , il suffit de comparer ce qui est comparable. Concernant la climatisation au sol du 1 er étage , nous avons affiné les réglages. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement. Il est vrai que des étés avec 38 degrés sont assez rares ! Merveilleux

Vue splendide de la maison a 180 degres. Rien que du bonheur. Aucune mauvaise surprise : La piscine est magnifique, La maison est spacieuse, confortable et décorée avec bcp de raffinement. L accés est un peu déroutant, on passe devant des serres horticoles qu on ne voit plus du tout arrivé en haut de la colline. La proximité de Sanary et des plages rend les escapades très faciles. On est a l abri des foules, tout en étant au coeur de la ´place to be !´ On recommande à 100 pour cent.

Great place, the view is sick. Laurence is extremely friendly. Your stay will be a blast. Comments for improvement: extra bottle of gas to be stored somewhere as a back up for the amazing barbecue ;-)

"Ein wunderschönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Ideal zum Erholen, wobei man in wenigen Auto-Minuten im Zetrum des Geschehens ist. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und waren sehr um unser Wohl besorgt ohne aufdringlich zu werden. wir kommen gerne wieder."
