Elkhorn Mountain Views - One Bedroom House / 2 Car Garage - Helena - Jeff City

This one bedroom house is located 16 miles south of Helena and 10 miles north of Boulder on I-15 just outside the town of Jefferson City. With spectacular views of the Elkhorn Mountains to the east and great access to National Forest both east and west this location provides excellent recreational opportunities. Numerous lakes and rivers are nearby and Yellowstone Park and Glacier Park are within striking distance.

This house has 2 vehicle garage below and a full-size bedroom with walk-in closet and a small deck. The spacious kitchen has granite countertops, a dishwasher and an island with cooktop/oven. The bath includes a walk-in shower and full size washer/dryer. Please note there isn’t a television on thepremises. We have high speed internet and most folks bring iPad or similar for viewing.

There is also adequate room for an RV as the property has electric, sewer and water hookup available.

Abundant wildlife in the area includes numerous deer and elk, partridge, and an occasional black bear or moose.

There is a one dog policy and pet must be kept on a leash when outside on the property or in garage/kennel when inside.

We loved this property! There are amazing views out of every window, and at night the stars were amazing (until the smoke settled in). The property was clean, comfortable and a perfect escape. We have family in Helena and will make every effort to stay here when we come back to visit.

Awesome stay

Mike was the greatest host and the place was awesome! Nestled in the Elkhorn mountains away from city where elk roamed the hillside; this was a great place for hiking and solitude. And it was as still close enough to the various cities around: Helena, Butte, Boulder and others.

Views in every direction

We enjoyed our stay and spent much of our time soaking up the views of the mountains, the horses, the elk, the Mountain Bluebirds. We spent our last morning waking up to a spectacular sunrise over the mountains and the songs of the Western Meadowlark. Convenient to Helena, yet in a beautiful peaceful world of its own, you can’t go wrong relaxing at this property.

Exceptional Experience

I can't say enough wonderful things about the apartment, property and hosts. The location is fantastic and the apartment is gorgeous and has everything you need for a short or extended stay, including great wifi. Mike and Julie are the most kind, generous and lovely people you could ever hope to meet. The proximity to Helena was great, but the property will make you never want to leave!

Cozy, clean home with spectacular views.

We had a wonderful weekend for my neices destination wedding. This cute home topped it off with the feel of home. Woke up to a couple horses greeting you at the fence for a snack was a treat. A 2 car garage gave a extra sense of security. Very well maintained. I will be back.

Work trip.

Didn't spend a lot of time at the property. It was comfortable and clean. Be aware if you rent this property it does not have a television. I didn't read the amenities close enough and just didnt realize it would not have a television. .
