Located in a private, gated community just 35 min. to Lake James and Morganton, and just an hour from Asheville. Close enough to restaurants and shopping but far enough to appreciate the peace and quiet. Enjoy the spectacular views from the firepit and wrap around deck. Better yet, count the stars while relaxing in the hot tub. Internet is limited, especially during storms.

This 2000 sq. foot, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath cabin is on 2.6 acres in a quiet gated community. The wrap around deck allows you to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a meal cooked on the gas grill, all with the backdrop of amazing views. At night, sit around the firepit making s'mores or gaze at the stars from the hot tub.

The kitchen is fully stocked - ready for you to make your favorite family meals, bake a birthday cake, or make a crockpot of soup on a cold Saturday. Spacious living room with plenty of DVD's and board games for those fun, family times.

Community amenities include a beautiful lake with a beach area and a fishing dock (2 fish per day limit). There is a covered pavilion with grill and an open fireplace in the common area. There are wonderful hiking trails and even a lovely waterfall. All roads in the neighborhood are paved.

Just 30 minutes away, Marion, NC, is host to fairs and festivals from April to December. It's only 35 minutes to Lake James State Park, 45 minutes to Linville Falls, and just an hour to Asheville. Closer activities are Catawba Falls and the Thermal-belt Rail Trail (recently completed paved, 13.5-mile walking/biking trail).
