We did want to clarify that our deck was completely redone just two years ago and has been well maintained, so we were surprised to hear that it felt unstable. Guest safety is very important to us, and we will certainly take another look to ensure everything remains in excellent condition. Regarding the cleanliness concerns, we recently brought on a new cleaning professional, and we sincerely apologize that the kitchen and basement did not meet your expectations. Cleanliness is something we take seriously, and we will be addressing your feedback to ensure our standards are consistently met. Regarding the pillows, would you mind sending me a private message with a little more detail about what didn’t work for you? We actually keep a variety of pillows in the bedroom closets ranging from soft to firm so guests can choose what best suits their preferences. I’d love to understand your experience so we can make that option more visible for future guests. Just to clarify for future guests, we don’t advertise the basement as a designated sleeping area. The futon is simply provided as an extra option if someone chooses to use it, but it’s not intended to serve as one of the home’s primary sleeping accommodations. Thank you again for staying with us. Thank you so much for your kind review! It is stated in the description of our home that the driveway is steep. With that said, we’ve had plenty of guests get their boats up the driveway, we’ve had motorcycles and we’ve even had a few guests with RV’s get up the driveway with no problems. It is somewhat steep, but, it is very doable. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise!
