A great location with fantastic views and good facilities. The kitchen was well equipped and the main living area was open and was nice for cooking and eating with the family. We did not use the BBQ area as this needed a good clean but everything else worked well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and nicely maintained with towels provided. The pool was a great hit with the kids and we spent many afternoons at the house using it. They were a bit sad there was no trampoline as per the original pictures but there was ping pong, pétanque and mollki to keep all the family entertained as well as rowing machine. The lake was a 15 min walk from the house - this is uphill on the way back so can take a bit longer - we enjoyed the plage la brune area where you could swim, hire pedalos and also get food and drink from 3 different cafés and restaurants. Veyrier du lac is about a 10 min walk from the house where there are shops for food basics and boulangeries. There are also two bus stops nearby for the 20 line and 62 line which go to Annecy. Overall a lovely holiday, next time would probably hire a car or bikes to help move the whole family around. As a party of 9 with younger children is was tricky to easily get everyone around from A-B and Ubers/taxis were a bit sporadic.
