The house was clean and tidy. However. The furniture, pictured as very nice in the listing, was old, very worn out, and quite uncomfortable. The cot in the laundry room (second bedroom off the main bedroom) was not restful. We also had problems with electrical connections and lighting. We spent as little time as possible there. The for sale sign out front possibly indicates no intention to do anything further to this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was super cozy - great sectional and chair. We really loved the fact it was so close to the downtown area. We spent a good bit of time walking around town. Thank you!
Highly recommend, we have stayed here twice in the last couple years, only had one minor issue and the owner responded in under a minute and it was resolved. Bed was super comfortable and definitely beats a traditional hotel.

There was such a foul smell coming from the bedroom that we couldn’t even sleep in there. There is an extra room off to the side of the bedroom where the laundry was so the smell was in with the twin bed and where the master bedroom was we all ended up sleeping on the couch because it was so unbearable. There was nothing stocked for us to cook breakfast besides a cheap small frying pan. It would’ve been nice to have something to cook the breakfast that we brought with us to make the next morning.
We loved how quick the drive was to the zoo, our main reason for visiting the area! It was also within walking distance to some great antique shops and restaurants!
We just stopped to break up a long car trip. The property was exactly as listed. It met our needs. We had trouble getting the key pad to unlock, I reached out to Allen and he unlocked then relocked (as we were leaving) the door remotely. We had a great stay.
Home is very clean inside. Needs some cleaning up on the side porch. King size bed is very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom are nice. Good place for a small group.
