Unique living feeling - sun, peace and quiet, ideal for relaxing & hiking, WLAN

Our unique, cozy holiday apartment is located on the sun-drenched west side of La Palma, in front of the Pueblo Tijarafe in El Jesus at around 460 meters above sea level. The landlord's house is also on the property. The cave has a separate entrance, approx. 50 m from the main house and is not visible from the main house. The apartment is a comfortably furnished, former lava tube that is typical of La Palma. The size of the accommodation is 60 square meters and consists of a bedroom with a double bed 190m x 200m and very comfortable mattresses that invite you to sleep in and dream. The living area is divided into a seating area with sofa and television and the kitchen-dining area with ceramic hob, refrigerator, toaster, mini oven, Nespresso machine. The bathroom with shower is between the bedroom and the living area. The water is heated by a solar tank and can also be heated electrically in cooler weather. The water is spring water. Towels, bed linen and beach towels are provided. Our holiday guests can of course use the entire property and choose the most diverse places to stay.
In front of the cave there is a beautiful sheltered terrace where you can end the day comfortably or enjoy breakfast in the sun in the morning.
Due to the special location and the lava stone, the temperature in the apartment is almost constant. It is nice and cool at 22 degrees Celsius in summer and pleasantly warm in winter. If it is still too fresh for you, there is a radiator to warm up the living area.
Your holiday accommodation is located on a 20,000 square meter plot of land that borders a baranco that has been protected. This zone has a particularly mild climate with lots of sun and little rainfall. Those looking for peace and want to relax can enjoy the spectacular sunsets and the steel-blue sky. Despite the quiet location, you can be in the village in a few minutes, where you will find supermarkets, organic shops, restaurants, pharmacies, doctors and much more.
There are also many excursion destinations nearby, which you can easily reach by car or on foot. B. the pirate bay, various beaches that have to be conquered by narrow paths on the cliffs; Cave dwellings of the indigenous people, natural fantastic barancos, many pine forests with wildly romantic valleys, natural swimming pools or a visit to the beach. Ideal for nature lovers.

A great place - almost

This place would get our very highest rating—if it weren’t so remote and far away from restaurants, hiking trails, etc. Too much driving! The house is charming and quirky. Grit, our hostess, was just lovely, helpful and hospitable. The place is sparkling clean, and well supplied with everything we needed. Many thoughtful touches. There are several changes of level both inside and outside, so it helps to be nimble. Two very nice outdoor areas for spending time, one with a great view overlooking the ravine and with the ocean in the distance. It’s quiet, with nice birdsong. The house is difficult to find without a WiFi connection/phone. Grit’s written directions work fine right up to the last bit, but finding the house itself is challenging. Here’s your clue: Grit’s driveway is just opposite house number 30. Drive a short way up the asphalt drive and you’ll see Grit’s house on the right, the rental a little further on.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in unsrer kuscheligen Höhlenwohnung. Alles war tippitoppi sauber und die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es gibt draußen eine Terrasse und weitere schöne Plätze zum Entspannen.Unsere Gastgeberin haben wir sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit erlebt, so dass wir gerne wiederkommen werden und die Wohnung wärmstens weiterempfehlen möchten!

Einzigartig!!! Ja, das kann man so sagen. Wir haben selten in einer so traumhaften Unterkunft mit dem dazugehörigen Außenbereich Urlaub gemacht. Absolute Ruhe Innen wie Außen. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, selbst eine Filteranlage für das Trinkwasser. Auffällig ist auch die Sauberkeit. Die Gastgeber passen zur Unterkunft. Absolut nett, zurückhaltend und bei Bedarf für einen da. Wir vermissen jeden Morgen den schönen Frühstücksplatz in der Sonne mit Blick auf den Atlantik. 10 von 10 Punkten, wenn das hier möglich wäre.

Sehr angenehmer und freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gepflegt und in der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden was man im Haushalt so brauch. Vor der Wohnung gab es noch mehrere Möglichkeiten, sich im Freien zu entspannen. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank nochmal an die Gastgeber Gritt und Steffen. Die Unterkunft war besser, als die Fotos annehmen lassen: Die Lage auf dem wunderschönen Grundstück, der Blick aufs Meer. die unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Gastgeberin warmherzig, interessiert und sehr entgegenkommend. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und waren "angekommen"..

Ruhe und Freiheit

...kaum vorstellbar, wie's noch besser sein sollte. Außer der Berücksichtigung meiner sehr persönlichen bis speziellen Vorlieben bis Macken, die natürlich niemand vorhersehen kann, fehlte absolut nichts für einen entspannten Aufenthalt, wir haben uns äußerst wohl gefühlt!

Super Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und mit allen nützlichen Dingen eingerichtet. Vor Ort wurden wir liebevoll in Empfang genommen. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts hatten wir stets die Möglichkeit miteinander zu sprechen und uns somit auch nützliche Tips fürs erkunden der Insel abzuholen. Super sind auch die in der Wohnung ausliegenden Reiseführer. Vielen Dank für die tollen und entspannten Tage bei euch. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage. Für sämtliche Aktivitäten ist allerdings sein Auto zwingend erforderlich.

Perfekte Unterkunft

Grit und Steffen waren ganz herzliche Gastgeber. Sehr aufgeschlossen, freundlich, immer ansprechbar und standen uns mit Rat und Tat und wertvollen Tipps zur Seite. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, hübsch eingerichtet und mit allen Dingen ausgestattet, die man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt. Das Grundstück bot mit unzähligen Sitzmöglichkeiten und weiteren geselligen Mitbewohnern wie Huhn, Ziege und Katze Bounty viele Momente, die wir gern in unseren Erinnerungen behalten werden. Ein Gefühl wie Heim kommen.

Wunderschöne Höhlenwohnung mit allem was man braucht. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die vielen Sitzplätze im Außenbereich laden zum Verweilen ein. Tolle Sonnenuntergänge und die Stille haben wir sehr genossen. Perfekter Standort für Ausflüge, Wanderungen oder einfach zum Entspannen. Grit und Steffen waren immer da, wenn wir Fragen hatten und gaben uns auch tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Toplocatie in een unieke grotwoning

Deze vakantie was perfect in alle opzichten! De ontvangst is hartelijk. Er werd heel veel info gegeven vooraf en ook tijdens het verblijf over de streek, marktjes, leuke adresjes, ... Het huisje is meer dan compleet: alles aanwezig, flesje wijn bij onthaal, heel mooi keukengerei en servies. Alles kraaknet en met smaak ingericht en mooie decoratie. De temperatuur is ideaal, nooit te warm of te koud. Een machtig uitzicht op de omgeving, en heel veel tuinmeubilair op verschillende plaatsen. Een aanrader voor een bezoek aan La Palma!

Super Unterkunft

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal für vier Wochen in dieser einzigartigen Höhlenwohnung. Es wird ganz sicher nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt sein. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet und hat ein sehr gutes Klima auch im Winter. Die Terrassen sind mit gemütlichem Mobiliar ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Ein ganz besonderes Lob an die Gastgeber, die zu jeder Zeit für ihre Gäste ansprechbar und fürsorglich sind. Da wurde uns das Abschiednehmen wirklich schwer gemacht.

Höhlenhaus Super!

Dies ist ein äußerst komfortables und schönes Appartement mit wirklich allem was man braucht und darüber hinaus. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Es ist sehr schön ruhig dort, viel Garten und Fläche um sich zu entspannen. Sehr herzliche und freundliche Kontakte mit den Vermietern. Unterstützung in jeder Hinsicht. Einfach toll. Vielen Dank!!

Perfekt!

Wir haben uns bewusst für den Nordteil der Insel entschieden. Die "Höhle" liegt am Haus der Eigentümer, ist aber dennoch abgegrenzt, sodass gleichermaßen die Privatsphäre gewährleistet ist und man schnell mal die Vermieter ansprechen kann. Alles ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Hier wurde wirklich viel Wert auf Ambiente und Bequemlichkeit gelegt. An praktisch alles wurde gedacht und so sind auch außerhalb der "Hobbit-Höhle" ausreichend Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten vorhanden. Zudem liegt das Anwesen so, dass wir (fast) jeden Abend einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, aufmerksam und auskunfts- und hilfsbereit. Große Empfehlung!

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Im Außenbereich gibt es an mehreren Stellen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten mit Blick zum weiter unten liegenden Meer. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
