2nd row (just across street from beach), called 'Beachwalk' and is located in a quiet area in Surfside Beach, with restaurants, entertainment, and shopping nearby. 2 BR/2 BA, 1st floor unit (6 steps up), and is fully equipped, including linens & towels, cable TV VCR/DVD, pool, washer/dryer, etc. Wireless High-speed Internet provided. Beds (4): Master = queen + single, Guest = queen + single. Newly renovated, with new tile and hardwood floor.
You will enjoy your stay in this condo and this area, plus many great seafood restaurants in nearby Murrells Inlet. (Please book Sat-Sat for Spring/Summer weeks).

First time to stay at Surfside Beach and first time VRBO user but it won't be the last. The condo was exactly as advertised and reviewed. Furniture was pretty old but it worked for us. Very convenient to public beach access. After more than 40 years of staying in Myrtle Beach motels, we are considering purchasing a second home in this area. The local people we spoke with were very friendly and we love the area.

This is an unfortunate incident, and also strange. It appears that the wind was blowing in a certain direction that caused cigarette smoke to be blown into the condo (through the screen door from the outside deck). The unit is advertised as non-smoking and has not been smoked in for at least 25 years. The issue was also easily solvable: open the front door, and the patio door, and let the nice ocean breeze clear it out in a few minutes.

Great stay

Great stay perfect location - close to Myrtle Beach boardwalk - do the Sky Wheel! And close to the inlet - lots to do there! Plus the beach is right there! Very comfy relaxed feeling to the condo! We plan to come back next year! Thanks Dave&Carla!

We really enjoy our Surfside Beach condo, and the area here. We actually live only about 7 miles away off of 17 Bypass closer to Myrtle Beach. Retired in 1998 and moved here that same year from Columbus, OH. Am also a graduate of Ohio State University (that's right........'GO BUCKS'). My wife Carla had worked many years as a legal secretary.

Why they chose this property

I had been somewhat familiar with the Grand Strand because of several golf vacations to the area over the years. As we searched for a beach condo, we found this 'Beachwalk' unit to be somewhat larger than others, in a smaller complex (just 12 units), and in the quiet community of Surfside Beach.

What makes this property unique

Just walk across Ocean Blvd to the beach, and the unit also has a large deck with a partial ocean view. There are no high-rises in Surfside, so the area is more like a residential community as opposed to a crowded 'resort/vacation' destination. Also has a large buit-in charcoal grill area by the pool.
