About this property

Waterfront sunrises. Great for yoga, meditation, kayaks, fishing or just peace.

This is my personal home. I have rebuilt most of this by hand. I take very good care of it, have meditation retreats here so you will feel the peacefulness when you walk in, In my travels, i hope to attract clean responsible people who want to enjoy the beautiful yard and patio area. You are my guest. People come here for meditation and or boating. Its a very peaceful location. I don't judge those who drink, but ask you be mindful of neighbors. No loud music after 10pm. I take extra steps like laundry soap, bottles of water, plenty of paper towels, spices in full kitchen. Has a work out room off the family room also. Kayak rentals a block away, You will have a peaceful stay here.

Thanks for staying. In order for us to prepare for the next guest, it would be great step beds slept in so cleaning lady knows they have been slept in. Shut off lights please and bump air to 75 degre
If you have half eaten food, please throw away. Double check k back patio for your belongings. If you have any recommendations to improve place, let me know.
Let us know if dishwasher needs to be run. We don't mind doing it. But to avoid cleaning person putting dirty dishes back in the cabinet, let us know, thanks. Hope you had a great stay..

Spring Break Staycation

The house was very tidy and was as described. It is located on a private road in a quiet neighbourhood. Convenient to shopping/dining - approx 5-10min away. We enjoyed the comfort and relaxing setting of the house. It was a pity there was no propane gas for the grill or patio heater. The only other feedback was the place is missing a guide/rule book - places to see and do , restaurant recommendations and essential info for our stay.

Great space

Great space to get comfortable. The kitchen area is a great space to hang out with friends. Slide open the window looking out onto the porch and down to the dock to enjoy a nice breeze or coffee in the early morning. We enjoyed the stay in mid January giving us the cooler temperatures to enjoy the fire pit and and outside seating. Walk down to the dock in the morning to enjoy the sunrise while grabbing some great pictures. Beds were comfortable to each of our liking. Pool table room next to the TV area is a great touch for cooler days or evenings and or rainy days. Close to major stores and a 30 min trip to Jacksonville, depending on your destination. One of the guys wants to redo his kitchen just like this home. Things to note: The property is in a beautiful area that is off a main road with some road noise(subjective). The house is on a well system. Bring water if this doesn't work for you. Overall for our needs of 3 longtime friends celebrating almost 30 years of friendship, this place was most excellent.

Lovely spacious property, the garden was so relaxing, breakfasted on the jetty and bbq in the evening , was fantastic, so relaxing. John the owner responded quickly to any questions, property was just as advertised.

Beautiful home on water in a great little town .

We loved the house and dock and access to water . Have a ton of space beautiful kitchen , and overall great time except for its a well water system and don’t think they mention that online just afYI and it hasn’t been treated wiiith softener or anything else cause stinks like crazy when turn water on if not used to well water then can come as surprise . Other. Than that great place

Beautiful lake house

Private backyard. Close to anything you need. Lots of outdoor activities in the area. Beautiful views of the lake. There is a full view of the lake/backyard from the kitchen, great if you have children or dogs.

Heaven on the River!!

I can’t imagine a more perfect place to vacation in!! Such a beautiful view of the river and the interior is awesome! Great kitchen to cook and hang out in!! If I were to change anything it would be to add a couple comfortable cozy seats to the living room. I hope to be able to stay here again!!!

Why they chose this property

Very peaceful. Great for boat or fishing with the kids. Or light a firepit and chill on the patio. Many short term rentals are located in high traffic areas with lots of noise and bars. This has bars 1/2 mile away but is set up for a relaxing weekend. You can Kayaks or take a boat ride, rent a jet ski down the street. Lots of things close enough but not on top of any noise.

What makes this property unique

House is recently remodeled and clean. There is an outdoor shower for when you get off the boat. Large 20 x 20 dock to relax on and watch sunrises.
