This stunning home situated on The Knoll has the perfect balance of old-world comfort and modern conveniences. This suite has spacious open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, a deck with a hot tub and breathtaking views of the beautiful Monashee Mountains.

The suite has a master bedroom with an en-suite, second and third bedrooms are queen beds, and another full bath.

Beautiful granite fireplace, Apple TV, cable TV, , stereo system and high-speed wireless internet access, and computer. Mudroom and ski storage, full-sized washer/dryer shared with the house.
Pet Friendly with a pet fee.


Hot Tub is available on request in summer months, included in Winter ski Season.

The unit was well equipped. It’s advertised as a ski in ski out but you have to walk on roads with ski boots and gear to get to snow. Place is a little dated and mostly clean.

We were 3 senior couples in for a week of skiing. The unit was steps away from ski access number 5. The unit itself was as described, well laid out and clean. 3 comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything you need to cook meals in. It was very nice to soak in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Communication with Rob was prompt and easy. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great vacation property at Silver Star

We found the unit to be clean, organized and very comfortable. The decor was relaxing, as was the hot tub.I would recommend this property for any family trip.

Love this place!

I don't even know how many times we've stayed here now, but we have loved it every time! Best hot tub views, easy ski-out and a quick walk up the road to almost ski-in. Clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay for a few couples for a ski trip!

Rob was a lovely host and was responsive and able to accommodate a request early on I. Our stay. The place was clean, warm and inviting and clean. We loved the hot tub with an amazing view after a day on the slopes. We'd recommend Daschund Haus to anyone wanting to visit Silverstar!

Well stocked kitchen, amazing location, excellent hosts - we had everything we needed and more. The apartment was well laid out and clean, with easy access to the ski hill, tubing, skating and the village. We’ll be back!

Great place, great hosts!

We have been staying here for 4 years now and just love it. Rob & Craig are gracious hosts, and even brought us a bottle of champers for NYE! The views from the hot tub are amazing and the beds are comfortable. It is a ski-out location with a quick walk back from the top of the Silver Queen at lunch and the end of the day.

What a magical location and property. An elegan, spacious suite, with one of the most fully appointed kitchens we’ve ever found in a short term rental. Rob is a responsive host who makes sure his guests are well taken care of. And we sure enjoyed the hot tub, even though it’s summer.

Wonderful family ski holiday to Silverstar!!!

Loved the location and access to nordic trails and downhill... Ski access just across the street was easy to ski out in the mornings. Skiing home was a bit of work from Silver Queen chair (we are all athletes so no sweat really). We took the shuttle once and it drops you right in front of this property as another good option. Owners were wonderful. We'd definitely stay here again...

Fantastic getaway

We had a great time staying at Rob's property! The views were incredible and the chalet was just as pictured online. We felt right at home and very safe. We had more than enough space and all the amenities we needed. Rob was the best host we've ever had; his communication skills were excellent before our trip and throughout our stay. He even recommended events for us to attend during our stay. So helpful! We will definitely be back!

Super stay at Silver Star

Other than a very small kitchen, the rest of this 3 bdrm condo was more than roomy enough for 2 adults and our small parrot. There are drawers full of cooking pots, serving bowls, dinner ware and cutlery and utensils. There is also a full sized washer and dryer in the unit. The east sun in the morning had some awesome sunrises. All in all a very pleasant 1 month stay.

Amazing Stay!

We’re a family of five (3 adult children) that stayed at this lovely condo the week of Christmas. The condo surpassed our expectations - the kitchen was very well equipped, the furniture and beds were very comfortable, the views stunning, and the place was very clean. Rob is a fabulous host, ensured we had everything we needed and was very responsive when a minor mishap occurred. We loved soaking in the hot tub at the end of our long ski days. The ski hills were easily accessible from the ski way entrance across the street. It was more effort to get back to the condo for lunch and we took the free shuttle from the village at the end of the day. All in all, a wonderful stay! Hope to be back some day and would love to stay here again!

We stayed at this condo for 3 nights and it worked well for 5 adults. We were a unfamiliar with the Silver Star mountain and village, so wasn’t sure if it was ski out or in. Rob gave us good info to get us to the place and tips for to/from the mountain. The ski out was decent, and thankful they have a village shuttle or else it would be a long hike back in. We were a little surprised at how the tall home is divided into 3 units (1 per floor). Overall the unit worked quite good, had all the indicated amenities, and would stay here again.

Excellent retreat

This was a very cosy and welcoming place to stay. Very well equipped and true to the ad. It would have been helpful to know that you park at the top of the property and stay on the middle floor. Maybe it’s in the info somewhere but when you arrive in the dark after a long drive it’s not 100% obvious. The stairs to access the front door are quite steep but are well swept and surprisingly grippy but for anyone with mobility issues or with lots of heavy gear, this could be a problem. These are not complaints at all, just information for anyone it’s pertinent to. Thanks again to Rob for providing an excellent spot to stay.

3 Nordic Ski couples

We were 3 senior couples visiting Silver Star early season for a week of nordic skiing. Rob, our host was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Although we found the main living and dining room warm and cozy, the kitchen was very small and part of the main thoroughfare, which made cooking somewhat challenging. Two of the 3 bedrooms were spacious and well ventilated, but unfortunately the third bedroom was very small and did not have a window or a closet. Also, the third bedroom was directly below the host's front door entrance and, as sweet as his 3 dachshund dogs were, it was if they were in the same room with us when they were barking or scampering across the floor. So we determined it would be best to view this unit as a 2 bedroom rather than a 3 bedroom.

Hello Sharon, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I truly appreciate you staying with us and your thoughts on your experience. I wanted to address a few points you mentioned for clarity. Regarding the noise, we’ve never had previous guests raise this concern. As for the three dogs, I had shared with your friends beforehand to let me know if they were bothersome. They assured me there was minimal noise and no issues, so your comment comes as a surprise. It's worth noting that our puppy was only 10 weeks old at the time, which makes it unlikely for him to have caused much disturbance. About parking, while we typically allow two vehicles, I accommodated your large truck and two SUVs by moving my own car to a friend's property to ensure you had enough space for all three vehicles. When your friends requested additional supplies like foil, cling wrap, and parchment paper, I delivered them promptly to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As for the back bedroom, it’s always been appreciated by guests for being quiet and cozy. While there isn’t a closet, this was reflected in the photos I shared with you ahead of your stay when you asked about the bed type. The room does offer storage with a chest of drawers, two nightstands with drawers, and eight wall hooks for hanging clothes. Thank you again for staying with us.

Really nice property - the pictures on the website do not so it justice.

Was under the assumption it was a multi level unit - but loved that it was all on one floor and very spacious. The stairs getting down to the unit were a little tricky as we arrived in the dark, but once we got the lay of the property it was just fine and comfortable and quiet.
