The backyard Oasis was designed with complete privacy, relaxation and comfort in mind. The Tiki Hut, solar heated pool, hot tub and firepit create the perfect outdoor haven. We are close to the intercoastal and the beach, both offer boating, kayaking, and fishing.

Please note that the pool is solar heated and depends on the amount of sunlight that the solar panels are exposed to. It can be very chilly in the winter months, usually only about 10 degrees warmer then the pool would be without a heater

★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. If we find an unauthorized pet in the house, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charge an additional Non-Refundable fee of $500.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS/FIREWORKS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

We loved our stay at Island Retreat! The backyard was beautiful and we spent a great deal of time in the pool as well as enjoying the tiki bar. The home had everything we needed for our stay and was so comfortable. The walk to the beach is not far and it is not crowded at this end of the beach which was a huge plus for me. The house was extremely clean as well. Great stay and would definitely recommend!

Come relax in backyard oasis

The home was clean, well decorated and well appointed. We had everything we needed and had enough to enjoy that we didn’t even need to leave. The beach is a short walk or drive and great to view sunrise. Short walk the opposite direction and you can watch the sunset!

Nicer than the pictures

Island retreat is actually nicer than pictures. The setup was very nice, and we actually used the outdoor shower more than you think. The kitchen was well equipped. The walk to the beach was easy. The location was very good. The neighborhood was quiet, but we were close enough to go into St Augustine. Our host Jessica was very easy to deal with, and she responded quickly.

Amazing Vacation Spot

This house was the perfect location for our 2 families of 4. We had kids from ages 10 to 7 and the accommodations were perfect. The location was a short walk to the beach and had gorgeous sunrises! We felt like it was our own private beach and loved that about this location. Downtown with tons to do and great eating places is just a short drive. The owners were very quick to reply with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Little slice of heaven

This house was amazing. From the first step into the house we enjoyed the whole house. With three teenage children they were in and out of the pool more then they were sleeping. As for the adults the whole set up checked all the boxes. The tiki bar was amazing. Would rent again for sure maybe both houses and have a family reunion. Wonderful host very well in tune with guest needs and or questions.

It’s really an Island Re-TREAT

This place is amazing! It’s very local to anything you want to do! The beach is literally a mile away or just stay in the pool and hot tub like we did! This place has everything you need! The tiki bar is amazing! Lots of room in the back yard! You don’t even have to leave this place unless you have to! Plenty of restaurants nearby and all of the essentials to cook at the home! Jessica our host was amazing! You really feel welcomed at this place! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful oasis!

We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay there again! Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working and the owner said she would get someone out but they had a busy schedule so couldn’t make it until Wednesday. It was a broken piece so nothing she could have known about. She reacted quickly and even gave us a small refund due to the inconvenience. It was close to the beach! The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable with so much stocked in kitchen. The backyard was stunning and so relaxing!!! Wish I was there now. A definite stay here while in town.

Truly an Island Retreat

Island Retreat is truly what it’s name indicates. It is the perfect setting for your island get away for guests of all ages! The home is even more lovely than the pictures, and is stocked with everything you need for comfort and entertainment. We wanted for nothing during our stay and hope to return to this beautiful beach bungalow!

We really enjoyed our getaway and rental

The home was easily found and in a great location. The home came equipped with all items for the beach and pool. We really enjoyed using the grill in the Tiki Bar and access to all kitchen items for cooking. The mattress were comfortable and extra pillows were available. We were beyond happy with our stay and recommend this property to other families.

Spring break @ St Augustine

House/property was great! Had all amenities a family would need. Leaves were falling at this time of year, making the pool a landing spot. Hot tub did not appear to be the cleanest (cloudy/sand in bottom). All in all everything was able to be used and still enjoyed! Great location to beaches and short drive to downtown.
