About this property

Between the mountains and the sea, a profound and eco-chic nature experience in

A renovated former sheepfold, ideal for 1 to 4 people (+2).

A warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a couple's getaway or a small group.

MAS CANERS, THE CATALAN SOUL

Nestled in the heart of unspoiled nature, at 750 meters on the southern slope of the Canigó massif, the sacred mountain of the Catalans that juts out towards the Mediterranean, Mas Caners welcomes you to a remarkable setting where landscapes, history, and Catalan culture blend harmoniously. This peaceful sanctuary, a true escape and a rejuvenating retreat, is ideal for disconnecting and relaxing far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

ECO-CHIC COTTAGES

In a former Catalan farmhouse, the two cottages of Mas Caners, recently and carefully eco-renovated and certified 4 stars, harmoniously combine authenticity and relaxed luxury. Every detail has been carefully considered to preserve the authentic charm of the old building while offering a modern and comfortable experience within an eco-friendly environment.

The two independent cottages, each with its own private terrace, offer intimacy and serenity in a cozy atmosphere deeply connected to nature: here, you'll feel right at home. Enjoy your cottage, its private terrace, the Mediterranean garden, and the 30-hectare protected natural estate.

Le Petit Caners, with its nomadic spirit, is the smaller of the two cottages: a former sheepfold with chic, bohemian décor, designed for a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere.

NATURE SPA

With breathtaking views of the Tech Valley and the Mediterranean Sea, the natural swimming pond, fed by the Mas's historic spring, the wood-fired Nordic bath, and the panoramic sauna offer an idyllic setting for unwinding in deep connection with nature.

The swimming pond is shared by both cottages, freely accessible, and open year-round. The Nordic bath and sauna are available by prior reservation (additional charge: €15 for a minimum of 2 people for 1 hour for the Nordic bath OR sauna, €20 for a minimum of 2 people for 1 hour for both the Nordic bath AND sauna. Bathrobes and spa towels are included) and are reserved exclusively for your use once booked.

Enhance your stay with personalized wellness experiences (additional charge): in-room massage, purification ritual, forest bathing, or a Qi Gong session.

LE PETIT CANERS: A SHEEPFOLD STEEPED IN HISTORY

Step into this former 18th-century sheepfold, a place reminiscent of the home of a traveling artist. An atmosphere of intimacy and tranquility welcomes you from the moment you arrive.

With 60 m² of living space, Le Petit Caners offers:

- A spacious 30 m² living room with 4 m high ceilings and exposed beams, creating a feeling of openness.

- A private 19 m² terrace, made of eco-sourced wood, facing south, offering a soothing view of the park and swimming pond.

- Two cozy bedrooms, bathed in morning sunlight, tastefully decorated and equipped with superior comfort: king-size (180x200 cm) bed bases and mattresses from luxury hotels, with eco-responsible bamboo fiber sheets.

Calm. Cozy. Cocooning.

A CHIC AND BOHO DESIGN

The heart of Le Petit Caners is an ultramodern, fully equipped kitchen with a central island, opening onto a dining area and a warm living room. Distinctive features include:

- A pellet stove, perfect for winter evenings.

- Exposed stone walls, highlighting the charm of the original features.

- Designer furniture in solid and recycled teak, paired with rugs, natural fiber lighting, and fabrics in a bohemian chic style.

- A palette of light and natural tones creates a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Every detail is designed to encourage relaxation, conviviality, and leisure.

THE PETIT CANERS EXTRA

Available for 4 people, Le Petit Caners can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people (with a supplement): A high-end king-size sofa bed (180x200 cm), ideal for two additional guests (with a supplement of 20 euros per person per day), is displayed beneath an inspiring photographic artwork by Patrick Willocq.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH IN 10 PARTS

1. Renovation of old buildings: Use of sustainable and local materials: stones reclaimed on site, certified bio-sourced wood.

2. Building insulation: Roof and wall insulation to complement the internal inertia provided by the old stonework. Double-glazed windows with thermal breaks on all openings.

3. Low-footprint heating: Pellet stoves in the main rooms, low-temperature radiators on air-to-water heat pumps for the Grand Caners building, and gentle heat radiators for the Petit Caners building.

4. Low-consumption electrical equipment: Energy-efficient household appliances, a wood-heated hot tub with a hybrid electric system, LED lighting, and outdoor motion detectors.

5. Preservation of water resources: Capture of the Mas's historic spring, optimized for drinking water treatment via a carbon filter and UV lamp, flow limiters on mixer taps and shower heads, a dual-flow mechanism in the toilets, and a drip irrigation system for optimal use.

6. Wastewater treatment using phyto-purification: natural filtration in plant ponds before reintroduction into nature, a self-contained system with no added energy.

7. Biological swimming pond: pure water biologically treated without chemicals, a self-sustaining ecosystem that preserves the environment.

8. Eco-friendly interior design: recycled teak wood furniture, natural fiber lighting, high-end and eco-friendly bedding, 75% recycled materials, linens made from natural fibers (bamboo, wood pulp).

9. Environmentally friendly practices: waste sorting, eco-labeled welcome and cleaning products, and raising guest awareness about ecology during their stay.

10. Initiatives promoting biodiversity: no phytosanitary products in green spaces, planting of 200 native and non-invasive species to attract pollinators, the pond, a reservoir of biodiversity, already visited by salamanders.
