This Riverside Retreat at River Walk is the perfect get-a-way for those who want River Life but want HIGH SPEED WiFi, streaming services, and modern, clean amenities. The cabin was built in the 1800s and was used during the War of 1812 for Andrew Jackson's generals to rest on the Buffalo River. With a waterfall located on the property, private access to the Elk River and a sensational view from your porch, River Walk is perfect for a close to home staycation, glamping, or a truly memorable experience!

The rich history, property and hosts were all excellent! I chose this place fr the location, the scenery and dog friendly and it did not disappoint. If you want your kids to enjoy the outdoors and relax at the same time come here!

We love the laid back surroundings and the historic cabin. Our host had good communication and was very helpful when we had a problem using the Wi-Fi. We would recommend replacing the card table and chairs. They were getting shaky.

Great spot for a short stay

Was able to rest our head for the night after 15 hours on the road during our move. The animals loved it as did we. Great for an overnight getaway for peace and quiet! We really enjoyed it.

Birthday trip !!!!

I had a short sta in one of the other cabins in May and LOVED it so much I came back for my birthday it's AMAZING quiet restful PEACEFUL if you want to disconnect from the matrix and just be how humans are meant to be, relaxing in nature being with family camaraderie experience beauty healing excitement I mean there's kayaks for you the rivers right there I found tons of amazing rocks you guys I'm obsessed It's perfect I can't wait to go back!!!

Awesome little cabin with lots of history

Weekend Getaway

It was a quick weekend get away and the property was secluded and quiet. It had everything we needed, properly stocked, and a great location for a fall getaway. Like a hobbit oasis!

The pictures do not do this place justice! The fireplace is just gorgeous. The location is just beautiful. You can hear the waterfall from the deck. There are three cabins that would be perfect for an extended family get together with plenty for all ages to do. Thank you to the owner, who was very understanding and helpful to our family.

Perfect Getaway

We had a great time exploring the area. The kids had fun kayaking. I was able to position my chair in the rocks in the river and read my book. My husband had fun fishing. He didn’t catch anything but fun was had. The cabin was perfect for us. The kids loved the loft and the cool doors. Just what we needed.

Cute Cabin

We stayed at this cute glamping cabin. The view is so beautiful. It was really peaceful until Woody the Woodpecker and friends showed up at 7am. Lol The bed was comfortable. The cabin has everything you need. Fishing was fun and relaxing. The cabin is a close distance to restaurants and shops. We had a great dinner at Cahoots. I highly recommend it. Unique Property!

It was fun to take my teens to this unique cabin. We did use the kayaks and tried to paddle upstream but the river was flowing pretty quick and although we are in shape it was exhausting so turned around after ~30m. The cabin had an air freshener in it that made my eyes & throat irritated so once I located it, I placed it out on the porch.
