Second time staying in the cabin and it remains peaceful and well appointed. The property really does a great job of being rustic and tranquil while at the same time having great modern amenities.

There is always something; the bed could have been bigger, could have been a step in shower, there could have been a comfy rocking chair! But I had that waiting at home! Our stay was wonderful! Hope to go back! The best part; the screened in porch! Love it!

Great cabin!

We had a wedding in Fayetteville and family stayed there. It was a very scenic, and comfortable place to stay. Plenty of room also!

The location was peaceful and unique, but found the cabin in need of more than a little basic maintenance, repair, and cleaning.

Owners were extremely nice. Very interesting property. Its in the middle of town but feels like your out in the country. We enjoyed a afternoon setting around the fire pit overlooking the Elk River.

Couple Getaway

The property was perfect. Remote yet close to town. Loved the screened in porch and access to Elk River. The cabin was clean and cozy with everything you would need to feel at home.

Family trip

The cabin was perfect!! The location was even better. Very close to town, but you would never know it. We spent most of our time outside on the front porch, so we could enjoy the river. Will be going back.

The cabin is private but is located directly behind a subdivision. You can see the backs of the houses from the cabin but it was quite and no one bothered us

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short get-away at the River Cabin. Although located in a neighborhood, the cabin is very secluded and private and surrounded by woods. The property backs up to the Elk River, and we enjoyed fishing several times; it was a peaceful spot from which to fish. The cabin itself was great with easy check-in and well-stocked amenities.

Quiet by the River

Lovely place to get away to clear the cobwebs! Having the river just below added to the tranquil atmosphere, while sitting on the front porch or in the screened porch. Thank you for just the right place.

Peaceful and relaxing!

The riverside cabin and property is so relaxing! It's a peaceful and quiet place to get away from the hectic schedule of life. We especially loved the screen porch. Check in and check out was a breeze. Our stay was just as we hoped it would be. Thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful property. ♥️

Another Great Stay

This was our second time at this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. It is a great place to relax and spend your time in Fayetteville. It is centrally located near everything you may need but is removed from all of it so you really feel as if you are off in the woods, away from the fray of life. The steep stairs to river are a bit of a challenge for older individuals but, otherwise, provide enjoyable access to the river. We will look to stay here again when we return to Fayetteville.

Peaceful Christmas retreat for the family

The cabin was perfect for my family of four during our time visiting family for Christmas. It is exactly as advertised-clean and peaceful. It was even decorated for Christmas when we got there which was an unexpected bonus. We were greeted multiple mornings by the deer right off the porch and every day around sunset the birds would flock back to the trees. At night you can hear the river going by and the sky is as clear as I remember seeing it in years. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. Had a slight issue with the internet while we were there and they immediately responded to get it fixed. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we hope to be back again!

We had a great stay with family for the Fourth of July weekend! The cabin is convenient to town, but feels very secluded nestled back in the woods. Cozy and comfortable with great views of the Elk River. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!
