Relaxing

We stayed Friday and Saturday night. The Cabin was comfortable and plenty of room. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the front porch with the rockers. I hate it for the owners, but there is a major issue with the borer bees. There are no condiments at all, so if you stay be sure to bring some with you. Other than that, it truly was a great weekend get away and very close to the Parkway.

Weekend getaway

We had a great time. It was very clean and smelled great upon arrival. The ease of getting WiFi working, the code to get in, and checkout was very user friendly. The rooms and house were well kept up too. This location was great for a two family get away. The only concerns we had were with the hot tub jets not working, screen broken on the side patio, and the second bedroom not being a true bedroom with a full wall on the loft side and no door on the entrance. It would be great to wall up and put in a door for privacy, in my opinion. Also of some toys or games could be left for families to use would be great. We had such a great time here.

Quiet

Facility was spot on. Very clean! Cabin is located on top of a mountain with very steep and narrow roads. We had no trouble. But, if it were to freeze I could see an issue.

Lady bug infestation

Cabins fireplace is non functional, and there’s a lady bug infestation in the one downstairs bedroom. Literally crawling out of the ceiling fan and landing on you when you’re sleeping.

The sky view

The house was very pretty! We loved sitting out on the porch in the swing. It was very high up on the mountain with a drive but worth the view at the top. The inside is very clean and comfortable kids would love the bunk beads and stuff they had there to entertain them with. The beds are a little hard and not the best pillows but other than that great place to stay!

Beautiful cabin and the bears were close by!

We stayed October 12-20th 2024 Overall it’s a beautiful cabin in a great location. We had a great experience checking in and out. We met a maintenance guy upon arrival who was very helpful and friendly. We found the cabin to be clean, well stocked with towels, extra toilet paper, mini hand soaps, a roll of paper towels, a few extra trash bags, dishes washer pods, new sponge and dish soap. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans but only 1 sheet pan. There were no spices (not even salt and pepper). If you plan to cook make sure you bring things you’ll need like a can opener, aluminum foil, etc. We thought the beds were all very comfortable and we slept well. There were no hangers in the house, bring your own. We did find some things in disrepair- the dryer, dishwasher and fire pit were all difficult to use. There was a hot tub that was hot but the jets didn’t move much water (we still used it several times). The WiFi was great and we were easily able to log into our Amazon and YouTube TV accounts to stream tv and movies. We had a bear cub show up in the driveway twice during our stay so that was exciting, but a reminder to keep the car doors and house doors closed at all times because they are curious and will climb on in! The road getting to the house was extremely windy and steep. We drove our mini van and were fine getting there when it was dry BUT we decided to eat dinner every night at the cabin to avoid driving the road in the dark. Coming back one day though, it was starting to rain and it took us several tries to make it up one the hills! If it had been any wetter our van would not have been able to get traction to get back to the cabin. We would definitely stay here again but would drive our SUV!

Great Time

Everything was very nice. Just make sure to lock your vehicle every time you get out of it. A bear was able to get in our car while we were unloading it.

Beautiful home but needs improvements

There were a lot of cobwebs everywhere outside and in. There was a broken shade on the front window and there was a missing cabinet drawer in the kitchen. The hot tub jets did not work and there were dead roaches in the light in the kitchen. The side table in the downstairs bedroom had a weird stain and the rugs on the floor were stained. The fire pit area was full of leaves and cobwebs we had to completely sweep it out before we could sit down there and use the fire pit. Overall the house was beautiful but I am not sure I’d stay there again. Getting up to the house is tricky so use caution and know there are steep winding roads!

Perfect location around activities yet remote

It was a very beautiful, there was enough room for 7 people (5 kids). The air conditioner was phenomenal, we saw two baby bears, it's in a beautiful scenic location, perfect distance between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Beautiful view around the cabin, the Jacuzzi tub was just as great as the hot tub.

Excellent location and very clean! Disappointing that the Fire Pit wasn't included and the Hot Tub didn't work. Overall a great little place for our weekday getaway while visiting Dollywood and Gatlinburg

Useless stay

Stayed here for the hot tub it didn’t work when we arrived contacted Vacasa for help and was told someone would be out next day they never showed terrible help. To make things worst you can’t use both showers because when you turn the bottom on it cuts off the upstairs so why bother having two showers. End tables and the blankets had stains on them. Candle fixture in the living area had been previously broken and left with broken edges (not safe for kids). Pots shoved under front porch and covered in cobwebs right out front (eye sore). Grill was left dirty from previous guest. Road up to cabin is very narrow wouldn’t take large vehicles if you plan to stay here. Also I’m the master bathroom you can see termites between the glass and the outside wood so that’s great aswell. I would recommend staying elsewhere for anyone looking at this under maintained property.

Okayish

Smooth check in. Upstairs shower did not work so my kids had to use the downstairs bathroom which is inconvenient and part of the reason we went cabin and not hotel. The air was locked to only go down to 70 so during the day due to the large windows the sun basically cooked you. So we couldn’t go much hanging out during the day. We had to leave because it was so hot to go do other things, which we would’ve again stayed at a hotel for a 1/3 of the price if I would’ve know we would’ve had to spend most of our time in town anyways! The living room light did not work either which was kind of annoying but not as bad as the air and bathroom. Over all the cabin was nice, we didn’t dare cook there as it was already hot enough so I can’t comment on that. Hot tub was good not super powerful jets but it was relaxing. My kids and husband loved the golf game that was probably their favorite part.

Quite and comfortable

We stayed here as a family of 5- 2 adults, 3children. This was a perfect weekend getaway spot. It was big enough to accommodate all of us and we could have fit a couple more people if needed. One big plus for us, after driving all day, was that dominos pizza does deliver to this cabin! It was clean and well supplied. The kitchen did have enough plates or cups for us, there is not any type of salt and pepper or aluminum foil type things so be sure to bring your own. The road getting there is a little high and winding but easily manageable, gps did take us where we needed to go. We will definitely be staying here again on our trips to Dollywood!

Great Homebase

Cozy cabin. Comfy mattresses and furniture. We used the gas grill and fire pit. The guys had a week long game of cornhole with the boards left for us to play on. The kitchen was well stocked. The front porch swing was my favorite place to relax, unwind, read a book or just enjoy the mountain air. Location was central to “all the things”. We went to Gatlinburg several times. Pigeon Forge and DollyWood were not too far away either.

Mediocre

Nice arrangement of beds/baths. Outdoor fire pit is really nice. Dishes are not adequate for a family. Providing simple stuff like salt/pepper would have been nice. Roads are very poorly marked. No cell signal so can’t use maps. Provide written directions from cabin
