The cabin was nicely situated and very comfortable for our stay. I appreciated the extra touches like the host providing toiletries and basic kitchen spices. I did not think the cabin was very clean, especially the kitchen. There was food spilled in the refrigerator and on the stove, and the walls were covered in spider webs. Other things that would have improved our stay would be adding a deadlock to the main door for an added sense of safety and doing some work on the ruts and potholes in the driveway. We enjoyed the property overall.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

This will be our forever weekend getaway when we raft The Ocoee. Thank you for the hospitality and sharing your beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations. Only thing I would head is heavier blankets for those that are staying and have family that likes to keep it cooler at bedtime.

Great place.

Great little place. Was lacking cleaning supplies and some kitchen utensils. Just make sure to bring everything you need. The location was amazing. It was super nice to sit by the river at night. It was a great place to bring my dog plenty of room for her to run.

So Peaceful!

We were visting Cleveland, TN for our daughter's graduation from Lee University. Myself, my wife, my daughter and my grandson stayed at cabin. My daughter and her husband from Cleveland visited us but did not stay with us. There is no more peaceful setting than sitting on that back porch swing in the morning. Great in the afternoon also watching the rafters go by on the river. My wife and daughter jumped in the river with tubes I had and I picked them up later when they called. They had a great time. Cabin is very enjoyable.

Charles, It was a pleasure hosting you and your family for such a special occasion. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and being so open with us. We are so glad you enjoyed watching rafters go down the river and sitting on the porch swing. We hope you'll come and see us again soon!

Great getaway

I booked this place because it was within the travel time that was comfortable for us to drive leaving straight after work. It was my significant other's 40th birthday, and he had been stressed recently, so a relaxing fishing week-end was what I had in mind. He was very pleased with his surprise. He didn't leave the property and opted to just relax on the porch and swing seat. In all it was nice to disconnect from everything and everyone. We did get a little lost when first entering the area. I feel the map needed to be better orientated or else the driveway/road openings have better signs for which cabin/cabins are on them, but other than that the overall stay and location was wonderful. We were secluded, but still less than 10 min from a gas station and close even to a grocery store for anything we had forgotten to bring. I'm pretty sure we'll be back again sometime, if not for another quick getaway, then for a family reunion of some sort.

Wonderful!!

We loved The Pines cabin at Welcome Valley Village. The cabin was nice and clean and very relaxing! We enjoyed exploring the property, fishing, and making smores at the fire pit! The property is wonderful for multiple families that want to vacation together but not share a cabin. All the cabin and covered wagons are walking distance apart but you feel very secluded. The best of all worlds! We had planned to do a lot in Chattanooga and did not plan very well for that since it took an hour to get into Chattanooga from the cabin. That however was my fault for not researching the distance better. We definitely plan to stay again and have more family stay also!!

Cozy Cabin

Great cabin! The property down to the river is pretty. The location was perfect for us to go rafting on the Ocoee. The checkout was 10am which did not affect us since we had to be out earlier anyway, but seems 11am is standard.
