Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry some amenities didn’t meet expectations during your stay. Of the 25 reviews on this particular property, this is the first time we’ve received anything less than 5 stars, so we take your comments seriously and want to clarify a few points. Pool and hot tub: Our pools are serviced twice weekly. Heavy rain and wind affected the outdoor areas that week. The filtration system is working properly, and our team worked with the technician on the issues reported. For the hot tub, we identified a needed part and ordered it promptly, but it unfortunately did not arrive in time to complete the repair before the end of your stay. Ants: We have professional pest control every month. We wish we’d been notified about the ant hills so we could have addressed them during your stay. Cold plunge: It is sanitized after every guest. We could have adjusted the water level quickly had we known it was low. Bed: We arranged for the handyman to repair it promptly once we were aware of the issue and kept you updated on timing. We appreciate your positive comments about the home itself. Our local team is available to address concerns, and we remain committed to providing a five-star experience. The only noise rule we ask is that after 9 PM to keep the noise to a respectful level as you would want at your own home. Hello Amy. Thank you for the 5-stars, and we're glad that you enjoyed your stay at Hidden Palm. We appreciate your feedback. We are surprised to hear your comment about "strict rules" and would like to be specific so that our future guests have the information. You mentioned the A/C, which was a simple fix, and there was no charge. We see that you texted our number at 11:10am and we responded in 5 minutes to let you know that the thermostats may be turned down without charge. We were happy to be able to offer a complimentary, very early check in at 11:30am (instead of 4pm). We also worked with your sister to approve 4 vendors that she hired for your vacation. Each vendor received a courtesy call and email from Darlene to be sure they knew where to park and the best way to enter the property. We have plenty of approved vendors available, however your sister may not have been aware. We're not sure what you meant by chores, tasks, etc. You may be referring to the check out instructions, which we believe are very basic: remove bed sheets, take indoor trash to outside bins, close outdoor umbrellas, close and lock all windows and doors, etc. The fines that we mention are relating to excessive noise, as this is a Scottsdale city ordinance. We pride ourselves in guest communication to cover many topics so that our guests have easy-to-use instructions for arrival, departure, check out, city rules, etc. We'll continue to offer one-on-one guest services from the moment the property is booked until the guest departs.
